The Commanding Officer, 2-4-5 Battalion Nigeria Army, Ikom, Colonel A.J.S Gulani, has enjoined officers and soldiers serving their fatherland to continue to be patient and work for the unity and security of the country.
He made the remarks while speaking in an interview with newsmen in Ikom during the 2020 WASA activity.
Gulani advised them not to relent even when things are a little bit difficult hoping that the nation’s economy will pick up.
He called on soldiers to continue to show a high degree of service to their fatherland and to remain committed in the discharge of the military assignments.
Colonel Gulani said the army is a strongest institution that can keep the country together by giving their lives and everything.
He also observed that it is only the military that can maintain the unity of the country, especially with the current events.
Gulani lauded officers and soldiers for been steadfast and urged them to continue to be committed in the course of defending their fatherland.
He said what is needed is encouragement at all times.
