“And he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, ‘Where is the Lord God of Elijah?’ And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.” (2 Kings 2:14)
This was the story of many that came to Friday’s Service with the theme “Covenant Day of Breaking the Yoke of marital stagnation in God’s Arena of Liberty outreach aka “Enough Is Enough”.
They crossed over like Elisha did when the Prophet of God Sunday Obi struck the mantle of God on their different problems and they got their healing.
Speaking on the topic “Marriage”, he described “it as a union of two opposite sex”. It can also be seen as living together of a man and a woman.
Ge 2:13-24 tells a story of how Eve came about from the rib of Adam. “And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
Ge 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”.
He said that marriage started in the Garden of Eden. Love was flowing in heaven before the fall of Adam.
Unfortunately, he said, “some women have become a problem to their marriages. The Bible says women be submissive to your husband. Husband love your wife while wife should honours their husbands”.
The Servant of God said that “there is no ugly woman in the world but how a man takes care of her determines how she will look. Vexation does not beautify a woman. So many women have remained unmarried because of bad character. However, she is precious to a man”.
Proverbs (18:22) says “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. This shows that there is favour in marriages. A woman should see herself as a gift to her husband”.
According to him, “some women are dirty right inside them. They are like glittering containers outside, but inside they are empty”.
He admonished them not to look at the glittering containers most times so as not to miss their chosen partners in life. Don’t look at the outward, but go for what is inside it.
Importantly, you must ask God to direct you to the right choice by going for “perfect will and not permissive will”. In marriage, containers matters alot. You need to pray over him or her. In marriage, you must look beyond the necessity as pride goes before a fall.
“Some women are good for a wife, but are not a wife material. The word of God says He who findeth a wife findeth a good thing as recorded in Proverbs 18:22”.
In Ge 24:12-22, the Bible says “And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham”. He declared “let the riches of man not entice you to fall a victim of circumstance”.
He regretted that “most men do not have conscience. Let him start to show you love the very first time. Take note of the warning signs. Your issues must remain with you and not to take it to your family”.
Arena Echo Choir International, was right on track backing up praise and worship songs as the servant of God began to have one-on-one encounter with those with challenges.
As the Holy Spirit directs, they were all delivered and healed while others got their prophetic messages instantly.
The Servant of God had earlier frowned at the ingratitude of worshippers in finding it expedient to always come to appreciate God whenever they are healed, condemned the attitude, saying “it is good to appreciate Him at all times”.
In corporate prayers, he called on God to take over the battle and visit those who are causing bloodshed and bad governance in the country from the presidency to councillors.
He offered prayers for complete condemnation and judgment to their families adding that “Enough is Enough”.
Also he prayed for the breaking of marital yokes in our lives in the Name of Jesus.
Obi said “today, adjust yourself, yes, you must have made mistakes, God said today I am ready for marriage “.
He said, “it is only Jesus that can change your situation if you believe and have faith”.
The manifestation of Jesus Christ during the service, saw many been healed, delivered and aninoted.
