God was on His throne and did not allow the devil to come and steal, to kill or to destroy his people as a result of ancestral yokes and burdens. He is a living God. He never fails nor lies.
Hence, He said in “Mathew 11:28-30 come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”.
As the theme implies “Night of yoke breaking and burden lifted”, the Prophet in the house had earlier declared victory through the spoken word of God to all that came for the “Tarry night”.
Isa 10:27 says “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing”.
It was songs of victory as His word came to pass in the lives of believers during the tarry night at God’s Arena of Liberty outreach aka “Enough is enough “at No. 11 Otu Ansa, Calabar, Cross River state.
Awesome as it was for those privileged to attend, the memory will linger on and on in our lives as a result of great things Jesus did for us, Amen.
The Grace of God upon his Servant, Prophet Sunday Obi, the General Overseer was overwhelming as healing, deliverance and anointing took place in the early hours of the programme.
Prophet Obi who is closely attached to the Arena Echo international choir knows when to invite them as he sang “I am a voice and a noise”, “why I no mak eyanga, Jesus is my Father”, to the admiration of the congregation.
He said today “the stone that the builder rejected has become the corner stone as all lost destines will be returned while burdens will be lifted tonight”.
Interestingly, the committee for the tarry night had a well packaged programme to keep the spirit alive throughout the night.
A seasoned Pastor in the House, Pastor Ubong Thompson successfully led the intercessory prayer session as the congregation prayed against every yokes in their lives either from their fathers or mother’s families.
The congregation jointly prayed against any form of sicknesses, stagnation, barrenness, financial difficulties as well as unemployment.
Presenting the Word tagged “Covenant Night of yoke breaking and burden lifted”, Pastor Eno Omini O. (ASI), said “when the word has been spoken, it comes to stay. This year has been declared God’s divine intervention and testimony galore”.
Speaking on the topic “if only you can believe”, Pastor Omini quoted “Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed”.
According to him, “believe is activated by what you see and hear, or even perceived. There is a clear difference between “Faith and Believe” even though they are both related and connected. Roms. 3:22 says our righteousness comes through faith in Jesus and to all who believes”.
Also in Roms. 4:18-22 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed”. Abraham dared to believe and he did become the father of many nations when it is glaringly impossible for him to become an ordinary father talk more of father of many nations”.
He went on to advise that “to avoid doubt and disbelief, avoid the temptation of looking at seen things (physical challenges) rather focus on unseen things”.
Omini however quoted Luke 6:47-48/2Kings 6:15-17 and Matt 14:22-33 for further studies.
He admonished believers to always take the word of the prophet seriously as he represents God on earth. Believe his word and it shall come to pass. If only you can believe that yoke in your life is broken.
Earlier, Prophet Sunday Obi had given out Bible verses such as Ps.55:22/Isa.58:1/Matt.11:28-30 and isa. 41:10-13 for more studies. Today, he said, the capacity of faith which you carry is what will carry you home.
He pronounced total healing and deliverance amongst the people noting that “today all stolen or buried destinies shall be returned to their rightful owners as he sang “Jesus you love me too much oh oh, too much, too much excellent God oh” and continued in his ministration.
The servant of God however offered several corporate prayers against any yoke in the lives of believers.
Testimonies were just coming from all spheres of life giving thanks to God and worshipping His Mighty name.
The tarry night was graced with different ministers of God especially Prophet and Prophetess Uduakobong Ribbons of Christ Fruitful Land ministry from Akwa ibom state. Prophet Obi did an exceptional thing for remembrance as he imparted them with “Grace of God” for the growth of their ministries.
He also anointed six other ministers during the programme which witnessed a tremendous power of anointing and overflow.
There were over 300 worshippers in attendance during the programme.
Even the doubting Thomas’s were visited and anointed by the Holy Spirit.
