The Chief Judge of Cross River state Hon Justice Akon Ikpeme has sworn in Elder Ofem Obeten Mbang as a Notary Public for Nigeria under the authority of the Honorable Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon Dr Justice I. T Muhammad, CFR.
Speaking shortly after the swearing in ceremony, Elder Ofem Obeten Mbang expressed gratitude to God honouring him with the investiture.
He said “I thank Hon Justice Akon Ikpeme, Chief Judge of Cross River State and staff of the Judiciary for making this ceremony successful.”
“He also appreciated rhewife and family, Pastors, Elders and members of Christian Church, Calabar, Learned Colleagues and staff from -Egba, Ebri & Co.
Others are Lawyers, members of Etumakoh Mkpeliyah of Ekori, friends and well wishers for rejoicing and celebrating with me.
He said “with God all things are possible”.
Earlier, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Akon Ikpeme, described Elder Mbang as an exemplary leader who has paid his dues.
She advised him to see his new position as a mark for humanity and not for selfish reasons.
