Fiery Prophet and Lead Pastor of the Living Word Int’l Church, Calabar ( Also known as Eagles’City Int’l.) Prophet Saviour A. Elijah has predicted the victory of Sen. Prince Bassey Otu in the 2023 elections stating however that human efforts alone will not count in his victory.
He said Sen. Otu will win the 2023 mostly by divine orchestration.
“Let me say this; that his emergence as the Candidate of the APC was by divine orchestration. I saw two men standing in the contest,I didn’t see him then,but afterwards,God brought him up. He is a man of grace and the favour of God is upon him”, he maintained.
Prophet Elijah who was preaching on the heels of a Thanksgiving Service organised at the instance of the APC Unity Forum after a successful inauguration and composition of College of Patrons on Friday, said, “also, since the APC flag-bearer is most loved and cherished by the people,he is being favoured to win the polls.”
According to him: “I will pray for him to win, because they are people who wouldn’t want him there,and even when he has won,he has to invite Men of God, and not beggers! to come and pray for him in office as a mark of consecration of the state in God’s hands”.
The Servant of God further said Cross River needs cleansing and restoration, and queried why people are not bothered about the dwindling fortunes of the state with a view to reviving the state.
According to Prophet Elijah: “Cross River was known as a trail blazer in national light with a number of firsts to count on.”
He however said the problem is with the celebration of deities through sacrifices and the Calabar Carnival which he said promotes promiscuity and immorality.
Elijah remarked that the people have laid so much emphasis on sacrifices to gods and goddesses,and the Calabar Carnival where people display a high degree of nudity and all sorts of immoral conducts,adding that God is not happy with the land.
He said Sen. Otu would have to lead the restoration of decent and righteous living as well as the stoppage of sacrifices to gods and goddesses in the land while making the idea of regular Solemn Assembly and prayer sessions a priority.
He also sent words of advise to the Efik Kingship stool to revive the forgotten idea of Solemn Assembly where Efiks sons and daughters at home and in the diaspora would be involved in praying for the restoration of their land.
The Cleric bemoaned the height of immorality,crime and injustice perpetrated in the state,and called for a recant saying that God was going to be judgmental in 2023.
The APC Unity Forum led by Comrade Ekanem Effiong had thanked God for the successes recorded so far by the group and for future engagements.
Prophet Elijah used the event to pray for the Forum’s Leadership and for the APC Governorship Candidate.
