Praises Ignited The Power Of God Against Their Adversaries

BY: Phil Adams/Vitalis Ugoh, Calabar

According to Numbers 23:19, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither a son of man, that he should repent: hath he said and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”. Such is the testimony of those who have had the chance to meet with the General Overseer of (GAOL) Outreach, the servant of God, the Prophet of our time, Prophet Sunday Obi, God’s own General. God not only confirms His word, but also performs the counsel of Prophet Sunday Obi.  (Is 44:26).

The theme of the service on Friday 23rd September, 2022 was very apt and very timely. “Covenant Day Of Vengeance”. The Intercessory prayers touched on silent issues affecting our personal supplications as well as the generality of the people within and outside the country.

This session was handled by no other person than, a man full of the Wisdom of God as far as the Word of God is concerned, Pastor Thompson Ubong. He religiously delivered the Intercessory prayers which kick started the service to the glory of God.

He raised prayer points for our personal supplications, prayer for the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi and family, prayed for mercy in our lives, and that God should fight our individual and collective battle as a people and as a nation, prayed against evil men and women plotting against our breakthrough and prayed to God to have vengeance on our behalf.

“Oh Lord my God, any one that seek for my life let him die by fire”, frustrate them that are plotting against my life, families, business and marriage in the Name of Jesus”, protect the Moses of our time (G/O), ministers and workers’in Arena, let the light of God overwhelm darkness, let there be light in our lives, Alleluia!

“Oh Lord God, as you fought for David and Joseph, fight for us this day, restore back what the enemy had stolen from me, restore Nigeria, cause the perpetrators of evil in Nigeria to die, let the church be established and not to compromise. I decree total restoration “.

He backed up his prayers with Bible verses from Exd.14:14/Nos. 23:23/Job 5:12 and Isa  44
In this service themed:  “COVENANT DAY OF VENGEANCE”, God promises to fight for his children. He says; “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace”. (Ex 14:14).
The Guest Minister, Officer (Pst.) Omini Ojah, noted that though God says “vengeance is mine” (Rm 12:9), the righteous ought always to pray and apply God’s word.

Officer Ojah without any gainsaying, gave instant justice to the Word of God with the theme “Covenant Day Of Vengeance”. It was powerful and loaded.

He took his text from Nahum 1:2-3/Isa 61:1-3. “We are serving a God who is a God of Vengeance. He does not give room for the wicked to go scout free but avenges the innocent at the appointed day”.

“God does not want us to revenge in whatsoever that had harmed or hurt us, to avoid being led to sin and go to hell, it might be for your upliftment and destiny, to avoid misconstruing the thoughts and intents of the person that hurt you and it might lead you hurting yourself or someone else”.

He says that vengeance is necessary because “it is the gateway to full expression of your redemption, total liberation, gateway for your all round comfort and it is a sign that one has been vindicated at last”.

According to the Minister of God, “I am glad to announce to you now, that day of vengeance is here now”.

He decree and declare that”vengeance will answer you in the camp of your enemies in the Name of Jesus”.

Minister Ojah ended his sermon by reading Ps. 94:1 which says” Oh Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself”.

Read the following Bible verses for more understanding. Roms 12:19/Deut 32:35/Heb: 4:12/Phil 4:5 among others.

Following on, the Prophet hinted that, when you believe that Jesus alone is worthy to be praised, you see challenges as toys. The ‘he in him’ shows in the ‘you that is in you’ and people begin to look for you. God will fight for us and the victory is ours (2 Chronicles 2:14).

Defining covenant in the context as “agreement between God and man”, he stressed that there is a strong bond between God and man for God to fight for man. Hinging on the theme, he stressed that God is a covenant keeping God and will surely confirm his word as ‘God of vengeance’. To succeed, your mouth(the word) and knees(prayer) must be used judiciously. In conclusion, he said; God answers prayers for different people in different ways and times.
Prophetic ministration singled out a lot of persons by the hand of God such as:- a middle age man to sow a seed for God to fight against 6 people who plan to eliminate him; strong warning to a young woman’s husband for an immediate end to spiritual attacks on her or his family will face the wrath of God; a young man danced his way out of frustration to victory; coming splendour for a young man who should sow seed to a man of God of his choice; a young lady set free from spirit of an old woman/wedding ahead; a woman set free from marine spirit; a young lady delivered from spirit of insanity and lot more. God fought for them. He will fight for you also, if you let him. Romans 12:19b says “for it is written, vengeance is mine;”.

Prayers for the nation continued thus: against all ancestors in Aso Rock resisting the progress of Nigeria, against all negative international powers in the office of the governor – CRS, and against all unrepentant perpetrators of evil in our political seats. Praise God for answered prayers.
Some of the testimonies recorded are: Thanksgiving to God for fighting battles relating to prophetic declaration; journey mercies/healing; divine protection and preservation; baby’s birthday; husband’s birthday/journey mercies/mother healed via prophetic declaration by phone; outside treating maleria and thyfoid fever, not a dime was spent in the hospital as planned by the devil; divine healing of a woman through contact with the servant of God; progress report on recovery of sister prayed for previously by the congregation and further request for prayers for self, to mention but a few. All thanks and praise to God. Beside these, was powerful praise which serves as a weapon of warfare given us by God. As seen in II Chronicles 20:20-24 verse 22 in focus, “And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushment against the children of Amon, Moab and Mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten”. Great number of enemies certainly were smitten to the glory of God.

For God to fight for you, first, you must believe. John 3:16 says; ‘For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him,  should not perish, but have everlasting life’. Therefore pray sincerely: “Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I believe you died for me. Forgive me my sins. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you for saving me”.

Earlier, the Prophet in the House, had recognized a visiting man of God, Evang.Consolate Ukanwa, of Ancient of Days Deliverance aka “Solution Centre”, all the way from Kwara state to raise three prayer points which he did as the holy spirit directed him.

He prayed against powers monitoring our breakthrough, powers from our father or mother’s house and against the giant in my life monitoring me in this Ember months.

Finally he called for the sowing of seed to GOD as many from the congregation honoured as he prayed for them to get their testimonies.

The highlight of the service was the Thanksgiving from Madam Cecilia Okpam and family. She was thanking God for restoring life in her one year ago. There different types of items, chicken and cash presented to the Prophet Sunday Obi.

The Prophet received her with joy declaring more years in her life for coming to say thank you God after restoration.

Marriage Bann of Bassey Obi and Princess Patience Enang is ongoing. Wedding is October 29th, 2022 at ARENA premises.

The “I love my Pastor comes up November 4, 2022 while the last Tarry Night is Nov.18, 2022.”

The Arena Echo International choir was just too good as they rendered praise and worship songs to the glory of God.
