The gubernatorial candidate for the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Dr. Usani Uguru Usani has raised an alarm over plot by an unknown persons to assassinate him.
A statement issued and signed by his media aide, David Bishop Agabi, said “the public should be of the knowledge that there is an assassination plot on the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Cross River State, Dr. Usani Uguru Usani “.
He said credible information revealed that the assassin’s next scheme is to disguise themselves as security personnel to scrutinize vehicles and identify him for assassination “.
Dr. Usani was the former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs under the APC administration.
