“No matter who you are, if you don’t have Jesus as your Lord and Savior, your foundation will still speak against you”.
It is only by the grace of God that sieges are broken. Sieges are evil omen or curses. It could have been caused by our forefathers or by ourselves unknowingly. It is an evil barrier. It holds one hostage. It bounds one from progression. It holds one captive, it stagnates one’s future; and until you invite the Alpha and Omega into your life, the siege cannot break.
The option is yours today, to receive Jesus Christ or to stay off His ways! The choice is personal. Remember, when you walk alone, the siege will remain permanently with you.

Today’s service was full of His grace. He came in full swing from the opening prayers to the end of service – Alleluia!
His Presence was manifest in glory. It was truly spiritual and rewarding. The grace of God brought entirely new members to worship Him. The regular left in “shame” and the new worshippers came in victory.
The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi had recalled that if he came to church and met two people, he will surely give thanks to God. The Lord had said that “I will not share my glory with anyone” and so shall it be in Jesus Name, Amen.
The service was grace filled. It answered to its Name – “The Siege Is Over”. Prophet Sunday Obi had declared freedom for all those under captivity, oppression and bandage.
The Intercessory prayer points were anchored by Pst. David Ibeh as directed by the Holy Spirit.
He prayed as follows: “Lord, help us not to be conformed to this world (Romans 12:2). Protect Your church from spiritual siege., “God, put on Your armor and fight for us (Ephesians 6:10-18). Defend Your church, “Lord, deliver me from life’s sieges and pressures (Psalm 31:21) and “God, break every spiritual siege holding me back (2 Corinthians 10:4).”

He prayed “Father, let Your strength be my refuge in tough times (Isaiah 41:10, “Lord, lift the siege over Nigeria and bring peace (Psalm 122:6), and “God, intervene in our nation’s struggles and restore justice (Isaiah 1:17). It was a spiritual session.
The testimonies were glorifying and pleasing to God. The thirty minutes worship came as hot as never before. It was filled with the grace of God all through.
The General Overseer had sought for prayers from the congregation following his three day program outside Calabar. He appreciated the Prayer Mountain members for their ongoing prayers towards the success of the program.
“And the hour came for the Word as he introduced Min. (Mrs) Juliana Tochukwu, as guest speaker to deliver the message”.
She started by appreciating God with praise as she read the lead text 2 Kings 7:1-19 to illustrate her message singing “the siege must be over when I raise up my hands”.
“And Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.” — 2 Kings 7:1 (KJV)
She referenced Jeremiah 52:11, Isaiah 10:27, Isaiah 49:24-26 to support her teaching.

According to her, “a siege represents a state of confinement, delay, oppression, or affliction. In the days of Elisha, Samaria was besieged by the Syrian army, and hunger filled the land. A siege can be physical, financial, spiritual, or emotional—anything that limits movement and progress”.
“When a siege is in place, resources dry up, hope fades, and desperation takes over. But the good news of the gospel is that God can end any siege, no matter how long it has lasted. Just as He spoke through His prophet Elisha and reversed the famine overnight, He is still able to shift situations suddenly”.
Today, “the same God who broke the siege over Samaria will break every chain, limitation, and delay in your life”. When God speaks, impossibilities bow, and long-standing battles come to an end”.
By understanding, she said “A siege is not just a military term; it is a spiritual state where one’s life, progress, or destiny is surrounded and restricted by forces of darkness”. A siege brings delay and stagnation (Daniel 10:12-13). When forces of darkness block divine answers, progress becomes slow, and prayers seem unanswered”.
A siege produces fear and hopelessness (2 Kings 6:24-25).Under a siege, people lose courage and become victims of despair and compromise. A siege drains resources and causes hardship (Deuteronomy 28:52-53).
“A siege aims to destroy destiny (John 10:10)”.
Satan’s ultimate goal is to keep people from fulfilling their divine purpose by surrounding them with oppression.

“When God speaks, His word becomes the instrument of deliverance and restoration. The word of God carries divine authority (Isaiah 55:10-11) God’s word never fails; it accomplishes what He sends it to do.(Psalm 119:130).
She recalled that “every siege thrives in darkness, but the entrance of God’s word brings revelation and freedom as it creates sudden change (Genesis 1:3) and it releases divine favour (Luke 5:5-7).
She says “Peter toiled all night but caught nothing until the word of Jesus came: “Launch out into the deep”. The word broke his siege of unfruitlessness (Luke 5:4-6).
“When God arises, no power can keep His people bound, God arises to deliver His people (Exodus 3:7-8, to Divine intervention breaks yokes (Isaiah 10:27), God uses unexpected vessels to bring deliverance (2 Kings 7:3-5) and Divine help comes suddenly (Psalm 46:5).
“When the prophetic word is released, faith and obedience activate its fulfilment. Faith receives the impossible (Hebrews 11:1, Obedience opens divine doors (Deuteronomy 28:1-2) and Doubt delays divine performance (James 1:6-7).

Praising God in the face of adversity releases His power to destroy every form of siege. Jehoshaphat and his army sang praises to God, and the Lord caused confusion among their enemies, ending their siege.

Cross section of worshippers during the service
Emphasising further, the General Overseer, lauded the guest speaker for a well researched message. He prayed for her being the first minister to mount the Pulpit this year. He prayed for more grace upon her life.
Siege is foundational and if not broken it affects generations. No marriage is a siege. Siege can only be removed by a Major Prophet with grace. Siege comes with extra ordinary powers from the evil kingdom. No real child of God should be under a siege. Today your eyes will be opened in Jesus Name Amen.
He concluded by giving some Bible verses for people to go and study at home. The are 2kgs 7:3, 2kgs 6:24, Jer.32:27, Exd 1:13-14 and Isa.60:22 respectively.
Thereafter, God’s own general, swung into full ministration as he began to sort out victims of various forms of siege one after another.
The grace of God was with him as he graciously handled their cases one after the other without much stress. The Lord did it Himself – Alleluia!
This was rounded up with 10 minutes worship as the congregation danced their siege out.
The Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen, had earlier raised 7 prayer points according to the theme of the service. He appreciated God for his grace upon our lives and for the strength to be at the service.
He prayed against all forms of siege in our lives, against every inherited curse, against every siege of delay, siege of captivity, cut off every evil man and woman standing on my way with the sword in my hand, deal with whosoever that says my children will not grow, bring them down in Jesus Name, Amen, I am in a battle field today and I am an overcomer.
