They trusted in the Lord and got victory over marital stagnation – Alleluia!

Before creation, God had originally prepared a blueprint for each and everyone of us. Our God is a God of settlement, timing, and covenant.

The original blueprint for humanity from God is to get a mate according to Genesis 2:18 “And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” while Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; and In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths”.

The scriptures revealed that you can not do it on your own understanding but must trust in the Lord.

And this was what played out in the service as worshippers keyed into the worship session crying out loud to the Lord and there were breakthroughs of all kinds. The doors of God’s covenant were opened.

As many that trusted and lean on Him, got their breakthrough during the service – Amen!

The Intercessory prayer points were too revealing that the demons could not succeed in evil enterprises.

This session was presented by a seasoned Minister of God, Pst. Fustina Ogben as the Holy Spirit directed.

She prayed as follows:
“Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness and for the plans You have for my life. I surrender my marital future completely into Your hands. Let Your will be done in my life.” – Proverbs 3:5-6, prayed against delay and stagnation
“Father, every pattern of unnecessary delay and stagnation concerning my marriage, let it be broken by Your power. Lead me into the season You have appointed for me”- Habakkuk 2:3,
prayed against every obstacle – Isaiah 54:17, prayed for divine direction.

Ogben also prayed for the right spouse, “Lord, prepare me for the spouse You have ordained for me, and prepare him for me. Let our paths come together at the right time and in the right way – Proverbs 19:14, prayed against wrong relationships
“Father, protect me from relationships that will waste my time, damage my peace, or take me away from Your purpose. Give me wisdom to recognize what is not for me.” – 2 Corinthians 6:14, and prayed for clarity and intentionality “Lord, where there is uncertainty in any relationship concerning my future, let there be claritty -1 Corinthians 14:33.

She further prayed for restoration of lost opportunities – Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten.”
prayed against fear and anxiety – Isaiah 41:10 prayed for a godly marriage -Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.

The prayers were rewarding and pleasing to God.

Thereafter, was the usual routine pattern that the General Overseer Prophet Sunday Enu Obi used to appreciate his God. This was religiously observed. He had danced round the Altar and choir stand appreciating God.

The worship session was deep and revealing. You could see the manifestation of the Lord everywhere. He is a good God indeed.

The testimonies were glorifying and the Special No was great too.

Prophet Sunday Enu Obi had welcomed worshippers and urged them to listen to the Word as he introduced the guest speaker Rev. Mrs. Kingdom Lambe, the youngest Minister in the Ministry to present the Word.

Rev. Lambe started by appreciating God for his mercy upon our lives. She described Marriage as an institution ordained by God as recorded in Gen 2:18-24.

According to her, as a result of the above description, “Satan having known that marriage is dear to God decides to fights the institution of marriage. See –
Ephesians 6:11-12
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places”.

She listed some of the causes of marital stagnation to include,

Closed Doors: A supernatural hindrance to meeting godly or right spouses 1Cor 16:9
Lifestyle: They are singles who wish to be married but their character has not prepared them well enough yet,
Immorality: The sin of immorality can also cause marital delay,
Satanic Altars and Generational curses and finally,
Indecision: Most persons are trapped with the spirit of indecisiveness when it comes to choosing their life partners

Rev. Mrs Lambe, also enumerated factors that facilitate Marital Settlement. These are “Engaging in Spiritual Warfare, to Seek Divine Instruction and to learn Seed Sowing amongst others.

She prayed and urged worshippers to always trust in the Lord and get delivered from marital stagnation.

Earlier, Prophet Sunday Enu Obii threw more light on the Word based on the theme ‘Breaking Marital Stagnation.’

He pointed that hindrances to marriage could be extreme riches in the case of women. Men are not confident enough in most cases to approach such women for marriage.

“Stubbornness in a woman, could be pride, being egoistic, not being submissive, being disrespectful discourages men from making martial advances at them”.

Others factors are anger, witchcraft, family pattern, spiritual blindness, curses, spells etc. Some children suffer from unsettled marriage because, their mother lied against her best friend that caused the friend’s marriage to break. Out of a bitter heart she placed a curse on her and her children. These sometimes affect both genders.

“Be determined if you want to get married, pray for the right and most suitable spouse. Have a mindset about the kind of children you want, pray/sow seed in advance to secure their future, Prophet Obi added”.

According to him, “marriage is a mystery ordained by God, vehemently opposed by the devil hence there are bottlenecks, most pleasurable and peaceful if only you go into it the right way”.

“Respect and submission when accorded to a spouse attracts love and care respectively. He reiterating that women can’t be understood and remain mysterious to men. Why? Adam wakes up and suddenly finds this exceptional being, taken from his side and calls her ‘woman’. The wonder of marriage is that they become one. Praise the Lord!”

“Men want to marry pretty women forgetting that ‘All that glitters is not gold.’ Parents want their daughters to marry already made men without knowing the source of their wealth. In all, such children end up as slaves in their marital homes.”

The ministration was rewarding and pleasing to God.

The Corporate prayer points were presented by the Prophet as follows:

O Lord God: “Let every negative family pattern hindering me from getting married break out of my life, because I am here today; let the shame of Marital Stagnation break out of my life as I want to be the first to testify; May I not be the one that men will suck dry and leave without marrying; irrespective of what my ancestors and parents did in the past, My desire is for me to be married and my children also; no matter the altars speaking against my marriage, Let today mark a turning point in my life and children today, grant me your perfect will and not permissive will as regards getting a spouse. All in Jesus Name, Amen!

The Prophetic Prayers goes thus:
O Lord God: The remaining four ’ember’ months shall not see my end; In the remaining four months of the year, our journeys to and fro shall be safe; my family and I shall not patronize hospitals nor spend money on medicines; My family and I shall not bury nor be buried and We shall not beg for food but shall have enough to give out in Jesus Name, Amen!

First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
