Righteousness And Holiness Unveiled God’s Hidden Covenants In Believers

.BY: VITALIS UGOH, Calabar

In the Book of Jer  31:30-33  says that “But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge”.

Jer  31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah”.

Jer  31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD”:

Jer  31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Deuteronomy 29:29 went on to say The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, that we may follow all the words of this law”.Alleluia!.

God is simply reminding us Christians that we  are in covenant with Him. He is our  God and we are his people, and that knowledge brings in great  tremendous responsibilities. For example, he warns them about worshipping the gods of the other nations in verse.18 and about persisting in doing things their own way as recorded in verse 19. Such behaviour will bring disaster upon them”.

But because He is a forgiving and loving God, He forgave them of their iniquities and allowed his blessings to locate them that have the fear of the Lord.

This was the case in Friday’s Service tagged “Unveiling the mystery in the covenant of God /Feet Washing at  God’s Arena of Liberty outreach”. The God of Host earnestly unveiled His mystery in His Covenant with his people. It was a new dawn in the lives of believers.
Alas!, the Intercessory prayer session was ably delivered by the vibrant and committed minister of God,  Pastor Thompson Ubong without blemish.  The word of God came and unveiled His mystery in His Covenants upon His people

He said that “those that know their God shall prosper. Sickness is not of God”.And that anything that is not of God,  let it be destroyed in the Name of Jesus  – Amen!.

Furthermore,  he prayed that God should open our eyes so that we may know everything about our lives.

He offered prayers against any yoke in our marriage, career,  education and business. Sin attracts darkness. Light shines in darkness. Any way we have wronged you Lord have mercy upon your people and release your covenant to us. Every altar speaking against our families, we command them destroyed.”

“When you are under covenant with God, no one can curse you. Lord I stand by your covenant in my life. Let the blood of Jesus Christ speak goodness in my life. Lord I lay hold on every word you have spoken in my life.

Ubong anchored the prayers from Bible verses such as 1cor.2:9-10, Eph. 1:18, and Gal. 4:1-3 for want of time.

Thereafter,  the Servant of God, Prophet Sunday Obi, the lover of praise and worship swung into what he knows how to do best,  as the Arena Echo international choir gave him the back up, as the spirit and power of God propelled him to unveil the hidden mysteries of His covenant amongst the righteous and the circumcised.

As he sang and danced,  he began to spot out those God had released their hidden mysteries as he delivered them with humility devoid of any “claim”.of his but to the glory of His Master Jesus Christ”.

After minutes of Thanksgiving, he welcomed the young promising Minister of God,  Pastor Jacinta Innocent to the pulpit to present the “Word”..

With precision and understanding, she attempted to define “mystery and covenant”,  Mystery can be something hidden while covenant is referred to as something that binds one with an Oath”.

“Mysteries of God are spiritual truths known only by Revelation”.

She went to say that .”God always reveals His mysteries obedient Christians,  noting that the greatest test of life is obedience  to God. The whole duty of man is summed up in obedience to God’s Will. It is an expression of our love for God”.

Having an encounter with God comes through hearing His voice, word and understanding. The voice you hear, determines your directions, as it determines your destinations and your destination determines your reward “.

For the Christians to access God’s mysteries,  they must meditate always, living a holy life, praise and worship, open mind, believing strongly in what God says about, humility and by trusting in the covenant with God always “.

For further references she quoted the following Bible verses to support her teaching as directed by the Holy Spirit.  They are Mk. 4:11/Eph.3:4-5/Gen.26:26-30/Judges 2:1/Jn. 3:16 and Dan. 2:28.

Others are, Deut. 28:1-9/7:9-15/isa:54:10/Joshua 21:44-45/ Dan. 7:1/Job 12:22/Luk.8:10-15/Isa.54:10/Gen.1:4/15:18-21.and Gen. 17:2-10.

Prophet Obi who was fully charged with the Holy Spirit offered several corporate prayers seeking the face and power of God in our lives.  He against the spirit of untimely death in our families, spirit of frustration, spirit of delay, sickness, spirit of barrenness and poverty in the lives of believers.

The manifestation of the Holy Spirit took the congregation by surprise as God started sharing His abundant blessings to those that came early. It was another overflowing Friday’s Service /Feet washing with lots of testimonies from believers..

The Arena Echo international choir was alive to her duties as it moved to another level through her praise and worship songs.

The highlight of the service was the feet washing and the presentation of an album by one of the Choirsters to the admiration of the congregation.

However, 20th of August, 2021 has been fixed for the second quarter “Tarry Night”, to the glory of God  while the Outreach has agreed to be visiting the aged and the orphanage homes every 1st Fridays of the month to appreciate them  Alleluia! Amen.

It was indeed,  a moment of joy, healing, deliverance and casting out of demons and God’s abundant blessings.

The faces kept changing every Friday Service. It is the Lord’s doing as the glory goes to Him alone. Amen and Amen
