Recently, the International Missionary Crusaders Fellowship of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) held her conference at the headquarters at #34 Ambo street, Calabar. Our team was honored to have the Chairman, Archibishop (Prof) David Irefin in a 30 minutes very incisive interview where he spoke both on the focus of the conference, religion and matters of public interest. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, whom he represented, voiced out so many things that have gone wrong in the World. He regretted that the World is no longer worshiping God and urge come to the Creator and have peace and love in abundance. Our Publisher, Veteran Vitalis Ugoh anchored the interview. Below are excerpts of the interview. Relax and savoy the message.
Question: What is the import and focus of this conference?
Ans: You know when someone send you out, there is need for it. You are expected to give a report or feed back. It also strengthens. Generally, some of the reasons this type of things happen is because when we look at the whole world, there is nobody whom you will say is serving God. That is responsible for what we are seeing today across the globe. Don’t mind that we are having churches and mosques everywhere, no one of them is serving God. Because anyone who serves God must have peace and love. Before Adam eat the forbidden fruit and committed sin, did you hear that Adam or Eva was sick? Did they complain about sun or rain or anything whatsoever? They were in unity with God. But since man fell from that grace, the story changed. The way God can show that He exists is to tigh your legs and hands with rope so that you can go back to Him. I will not be surprised that many doesn’t know that the God who created Heaven and Earth is here physically with us today in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ – Amen. This era of Holy Spirit is a little bit different from Old testament. Since the Holy Spirit is here and is love, the Father wants us to go and tell the World that it is no longer business as usual. Prior to this, people were doing all kinds of things using God’s Name. If these things were not taken to the World, the whole world would be destroyed. This is not going to be the first time. We heard about flood, Sodom and Gomorrah. We also heard how God scattered languages and tribe in the Bible. In this particular period so that the same thing does not repeat again, so that Christians will not say, oh I went to Holy land and Muslims will not say I went to Saudi Arabia, no. You need new knowledge and wisdom from God to be able to serve Him. He has asked us to go to the world and let the people know that He is in your midst here now. And since He is here, what you have been doing is not allowed any more. Once you continue doing so, you are pursuing the path of destruction.The nature of the world today is violence, kidnapping, crime, stealing, ritual killings, confusion. Do me, I do. unforgiveness, envy, blackmail and war, etc. That is why the world can never be stable. The owner of the Earth has rules on how to live here.God never created you to be at war with each other. Our Lord Jesus Christ says if you want to be a Master be a Servant. Christ never cared for himself, but was concerned about the good of the oppressed. Today the whole world is confused. In the church, people steal. You can not see one Christian or Muslim church that they are not fighting. No, not at all.
So is our God a violent God?
Question:What is the way forward?
Ans: The way forward is for the whole world to adapt to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ who is personified in our midst. You know many people do not believe you can see God. Can violent people see God, even when you see him, you may not know. Before you see God, you must be holy and must have sanctified yourself. Go and tell the lawyers, judges and people in government that they should stop oppressing people again. If you say somebody has stolen, is it your property? “Heaven and Earth and its fullness belongs to God”. So those who claim to be billionaires, were they born with it. They stole the money here on earth. All the resources of the earth belongs to Jesus Christ. You can not be able to stop stealing unless you agree to accept the teachings of the Lord which is based on the fruit of the spirit. This is love, peace, long-suffering, patience, humility etc. It is basically on love for one another, mercy, peaceful coexistence and forgiveness.
Question: Prof. Are you saying without the practicing of these Bible principles, we shall not get it right?
Ans: Definitely, I don’t need to mix words. If we want to follow the teachings of the church we can never be at peace. Even among themselves, they are discriminating. Discrimination amongst churches. Muslim versus Muslim country like Iran retaliated Pakistan recently over a missile in their country. If religion can not give peace to those practicing it, is it going to be better with those against such a religion? Peace is the requisite thing domicile in the Holy Spirit. Only God can give peace and you must learn how to acquire peace first. And to acquire God, there are requirements. God has requirements. In other to have peace, you must accept the teachings of the Holy Spirit which centers on love one another as our Lord Jesus Christ has taught us. The job of the Holy Spirit is to come and change us gradually.The things you use to do, you do them no more. How can you have peace when you eat meat and fish? Blood of cow and your blood, is that not confusion. You are neither a human being or a cow now. God can not stay in a polluted house. You must be pure and holy like God by becoming a vegetarian. The animal kingdom will be happy if we now turn to be vegetarians.Most animals are humans. They belong to the animal kingdom.
Question: Archibishop, can you throw more light on the focus of the conference you are having?
Ans: Though we started since Monday. The conference is all about taking the gospel to the whole world. The world is suffering. Do you like the way Nigeria is? UN cannot solve our problem. Of course, the UN itself has very big problem. All member countries have problems. America, Britain, Germany, France, etc. So who will solve whose problem now. It is only the Holy Spirit that can solve our problem, no man on earth can solve problems.
Question: Archibishop, how can your Organization help in curbing the increasing rate of crimes of all manner across the country?
Ans: Yes, that is why you need to appreciate what Leader O.O.Obu is doing by sending people for evangelism across the whole world. For the first time in my life, I had opportunity of meeting traditional men in their church so to say. They were worshipping yes, the Father acknowledge them, but reminded them that that kind of worship is no longer encouraged in the new kingdom of God. He asked them, since you have been doing this have you been able to love one another? They told us that their members don’t eat government money, but they discriminate. The Holy Spirit doesn’t discriminate. There is nothing we can do other than to accept the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu which is very simple and centers on love. The question is, how do you start to practice? You must first of all abandon evil because Apostle Peter says” repent, confess your sin and be guided”. Everybody is a sinner via watching movies, watching traditional dances and so forth. Nobody is free from sin. He has given us the opportunity that when we come to this consciousness and then confess your sin, baptized and accept Him as Lord and Savior you are free in the Name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Any sin not confessed can not be forgiven by God. As you come out of the world, you are a different person. But if you go back, the consequences are purely yours. The day I was baptized, the previous day, I slaughtered a ram on Thursday and on a Friday morning I was baptized. That night the Holy Spirit came to me and told me to avoid all those things I used to do and I realized myself. Since that time, the Holy Spirit has sustained me. Prof. Chikwe came here and had encounter with the Father and he stopped smoking. The Holy Spirit will not change you rapidly so that you will not be injured. If by chance you get an appointment, you go to serve and the not as a Master.
Question: What is your advice to the Federal Govt ?
Ans: My advice will be in many folds okay. There is no need to continue to misrule Nigerians. They are only serving their family and personal interests. The Holy Spirit has said this is the time. The time has come to recover all monies stolen by our leaders. This is the time. We don’t need to pray. If it was kept under the sea, the sea will vomit it out. So they will just be disgracing themselves. It is in their own interest to stop looting the Federal Treasury because very soon when the Holy Spirit will look at Nigeria, the center will not hold. If the government can stop throwing parties in government houses, there would have been enough for the people. Have you heard that the President of America or the Prime Minister of Britain slaughter cows every day? Government house turned into a brothel wasting food that would have been given to the poor and needy homes.They should stop all these craziness about looting and wasting of resources. Very soon some of them will regret for their Evil rule in this country. Nobody knows where God will keep them. King David and Solomon were fortunate that God over looked some of the things they did. These ones who will save them. Christ has come not to die again. They will never reincarnate again and suffer endlessly in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen. They should drop all their evil doings and come to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu for repentance because very soon the center will not hold. If God will spear them, they will the paupers of the moment if they don’t return to Christ. The Bible says “all powers in heaven and Earth belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ who is here”. Your power is powerless. If you see God you will melt with your 100 cult or society. Recently, the federal government released about 90 billion Naira to Muslim Pilgrims board. What a waste of resources. Since they have been going to Hajj has it changed their character? The money should have been given to the less privilege homes to change their lives.
Question: Do you subscribe to the scrapping of bot Muslim/Christian Pilgrims Board?
Ans: Yes, if it can be done, Nigeria will be great. I have my evidence, the man who saw tomorrow, who lived 500 years ago, said time will come there will be a black man who will declare Thursday a Holy Day to whom the whole world will follow and since the man died, till this day I have not heard about any black man who has declared Thursday a Holy Day apart from Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. Evangelist Adewale from Celestial church prophesied about leader Olumba Olumba Obu where people from all over the world will be coming for a pilgrimage. Oshofa did prophised too saying Jesus Christ will rule the world from Nigeria. If you pick all these together it leads to the Kingdom of God as established by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu on earth. Evidences abound that all the Prophets of the old were black people. The white men had long deceived us. So if they can humble themselves and come to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, they will be saved. If they want to succeed, they must come to him now or never in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ – Amen. Any profession you belong, you will fail if you don’t seek for Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. President Ahmed Bola Tinubu should come to Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and collect a blue print on how to govern Nigeria alright. He is ready to forgive him all his transgressions.
