The State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment , Hon Patrick Egbede, says that the zeal and enthusiasm of the state government towards the transformation of the state was on a speed lane.
The Commissioner was speaking in his office when he received the state executive body of the Conversant Natal Passionate People Initiative on a courtesy call.
He emphasized that the Bassey Edet Otu led administration has activated all it’s arsenals to drive home his ‘people first’ mantra.
Egbede maintained that the concerted efforts were yielding benefits in every sector of the economy and hoped that the dreams of the state will in a short while be realized.
He also expressed optimism in changing the narratives in the poverty level of the state anchoring on the efficient galvanization of human and material resources of the state into productive ventures.
This he pointed out was evident in the manpower development through training and the avalanche of people oriented projects across the state.
The Commissioner called for unbridled support from the people of the state by keying into the transformation agenda of the state government by creating and sustaining peaceful and harmonious environment for development to thrive.
Earlier, the National President of the Conversant Natal Passionate People Initiative, High Chief Edet Bassey Okon commended the Commissioner for his astuteness in driving the mandate of the Ministry pragmatically and prayed for sustenance.
