They paid a price for their tribulation and overcome every setback

It was at the first Tarry Night of the year 2025 with the theme “Power to overcome” Isa (41:10) that the enemy according to John 10:10 came and held people hostage knowing that they would overcome whatever that befell them during the tarry night.

The Power to overcome is too heavy for the devil to withstand as he will always try but the power of God supercedes that of the devil.

This was a brief narration of what transpired on March 28, 2025 at the tarry night at God’s Arena Of Liberty (GOAL ( aka “the Enough is Enough”.

For those who were held hostage by the enemy, we say goodluck, but for those who attended, congratulations to the numerous blessings and gifts from God.

God kept to His promises. He honoured His word. We prayed for clement weather, He gave, we prayed against insecurity, he provided enough security.

Again, we prayed for gifts and blessings, He abundantly released them according to the ability to carry,

God manifested His presence mightily during the tarry night. There was enough grace in the house. You could see joy radiating on the faces of the congregation. The Servant of God, Prophet Sunday Obi, could not hide his feelings as he danced round the choir stand, giving thanks to His Master Jesus Christ.

God has not stopped doing good. He really showed that He is God and not Man. He restored the health of the General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi to the amazement of many worshippers. Glory be to Jesus!

And he testified to the glory of God that He is a good God. He heals, he protects and providerth. He is the God of impossibility. He knows the future and the heart of man.
The heart of kings are in his hands.

And so, the tarry night had a lot of revelations and testimonies. The thief got disappointed because those who attended the tarry night were liberated and set free.

Earlier, Pst. David Ibe had offered the opening prayers to kick start the service. He prayed thanking God for this day to come and what he has done in our lives and for the church.

He prayed that every garment of disappointment to catch fire in the Name of Jesus, against every triangular power assigned to torment us, die in the Name of Jesus, let the trumpet of destruction blow upon our oppressors in Jesus Name Amen, and that God should arise and give us God-fearing leaders in Jesus Name Amen.

Also, while presenting the Intercessory prayer, Apostle Ubong Thompson, prayed according to the theme of service saying “there is power in the Name of Jesus to break every chain”.

He worshipped the Lord. He is a miracle worker.

Ubong raised prayers according to Acts 1:8/Roms 8:11/Isa,10;27/Lk 10:19/John 6:63 and Isa.8:9 among others.

One of the interesting session was the thirty minutes worship anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson.

Truly, it was a session to be remembered. It was inspiring, rewarding and amazing. The power to overcome, indeed was present. They congregation poured out their minds cry loud to their God with thanksgiving and appreciation.

Thereafter, the ARENA Echo International choir, the best choir in the world, entertained the congregation with several renditions. It was marvelous in His sight.

The choir was on top of the situation. The Lord has with the choir. They sang gloriously in appreciation to God.

The Prophet had earlier revealed the plans of the devil against our male children rather than the female these days and quickly prayed and asked God for mercy.

He therefore, ushered to the Pulpit the youngest Minister of God, Rev. Kingdom Obi to deliver the Word.

Taking her text from Isaiah 41:10, she described “overcome as to prevail or to be victorious in situations that is holding us hostage”.

God says “be in good cheer during tribulation because tribulation must surely come (Jh.16:33). You must be alive before passing through tribulation not because you are successful.

“There is a price for greatness”. Mary was called many names because she was favored from God with Jesus pregnancy. You must lift up your eyes first to be able to get your destiny to be lifted up, Gen. 13:14-15.

Rev. Obi recalled that even the disciples experienced a storm even with the presence of Jesus inside the boat. It is not unusual to have challenges. Challenges may some times reveal and confirm to you that you are on the part of destiny.

“There are challenges you will face because you are heading somewhere. There is no glory without a Cross. Jesus pleaded for the cup to be taken away from him on the Cross.

“For us to succeed in life we must pass through tribulations”. Give him thanks always. Thanksgiving moves God. Keep doing so and you shall overcome by His power – Amen.

“Tribulation is a transformation. It helps to refine us spiritually. There is no challenge bigger than God “.

“Be prepared for warfare, you must have faith in God, be prayerful and ready to pay the price. God is not wicked. He is passionate. Have a positive mindset towards Jesus Christ. Reconcile with Christ and overcome your tribulation”.
