The ancient city of Calabar has become a focal point of global attention as monarchs, traditional rulers, and prominent leaders from across the globe converge at the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) World Headquarters

The gathering is in honor of the “Universal Monarch, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu”, who is celebrating the “Silver Jubilee of His Divine Coronation”.
Among the high-profile dignitaries who arrived in the Cross River State capital is the “Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Ganiyu Adams.”
The renowned activist and leader of the “Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC)” arrived with a high-powered delegation, including regional coordinators from Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Enugu, and Ebonyi States.
His presence is seen as a significant bridge-building gesture, highlighting the national and inter-ethnic importance of the milestone event.
Speaking on the atmosphere in the capital, observers noted that the arrival of the Yoruba leader has further heightened the profile of the historic occasion.
“His arrival underscores the national significance of the celebration, as distinguished leaders continue to gather in Calabar to honor the Universal Monarch,” a representative of the planning committee stated.
