“As it was in the days of old, so it is now in the Mighty Name of Jesus – Amen”!
“Abraham, Daniel, Joseph, Esther and Mordecai were wonderful contact points of reference as it were. Their rewards were great as recorded in the Holy Bible”.
The theme of the Communion service “And Thy Reward Shall Be Great” is very apt and timely giving this very hard economic situation across the globe.
Usually, Communion service has its own unique dimensions. It is often noticed that the devil always prevents people from attending such particular services. He knows what benefits are packaged on occasion such as this. This ugly scenario had repeated itself again and again. It is no longer funny and today the Lord has put a stop to it in Jesus Name, Amen.
Today’s scenario was not exempted at all. God had revealed to the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, that there were lots of packages during the service only to discover that just few people were in attendance.
After the thirty minutes worship, God spoke to the Prophet who directed that it should continue and thereafter that he should unveil the gifts and packages and allow people to carry as many as they could. And it came to pass.
The gifts and packages were distributed to the faithful and committed people who came on time to worship their God.
However, the devil was put to shame as many went home satisfied with lots of great reward – Alleluia!
In all, we return the glory and honour to God by whose mercy we are living. He manifested in His Glory during the Communion service. It was a change of story to the few that diligently and faithfully seek His Face.
It was a unique and great experience with Master Jesus. There was no doll moment. The Arena Echo International choir were alive to her responsibility. The drums were very active till the end of service.
And the Intercessory segment came as usual, as Pst David Ibeh did justice to it as he began with appreciation to God. He took his text from Genesis 15:1 and Isaiah 61:7-8.
He prayed saying “Lord, let Your exceeding great reward manifest in my life, in Jesus Name, I claim my reward of strength and prosperity, in Jesus Name, Father, my reward shall be great, and I will walk in it, in Jesus Name as he decreed revival, growth, and harvest for our church, in Jesus Name.”
He prayed “Lord, let our church be a place of healing, restoration, and breakthrough, in Jesus Name, Lord, let greatness manifest in our economy, governance, and security, in Jesus Name, as he prayed and decree an end to corruption, injustice, and hardship, in Jesus Name”.
The prayers were powerful and amazing. The testimonies were glorifying and pleasing to God.
In the same spirit, the Arena Echo International choir rendered her Special No “I have put my trust and faith in you Lord”. The general Overseer Prophet Sunday Enu Obi appreciated the choir for her continued strength and support to the Ministry and prayed God to reward them greatly.
The Prophet who was full of smiles, declared that many shall go home today with great rewards in Jesus Name Amen. Rewards in marriage, fruit of the womb, finances, open doors, job opportunities and above all, the spirit to love God. The gifts were in different dimensions.
The Word:
The General Overseer ushered to the Pulpit, the guest speaker, Evangelist Blessing Asim who spoke on the Topic: “Your reward shall be great” taken from the Book of 1 Cor. 15:58, Mathew 5:12.

“A reward is something given or received in return for Service, effort or achievement. It serves as positive reinforcement to encourage desired behavior or outcome. Reward can be a good reward or bad reward. Mathew 5:12 “Rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven: For so persecuted they the prophets which were before you”.
According to several prophesies in Daniel 9:27. Micheal will possibly act as a guardian angel charged with the protection of Daniel’s people the nation of Israel. Because satan and the antichrist is about to unleash the most horrendous genocide ever seen in human history.
“Unfortunately, not everyone in israel will enjoy protection and deliverance, but only those whose work on earth will help their names to be found in the book of life”.
Beloved, those whose names are missing from the book of life will end up in hell, far from Christ enduring everlasting shame.
Those who have invested in sharing the gospel with others will reign with Christ. They will be rewarded for having led many to righteousness. (Daniel 12:3)
“Proverb 11:30 says “The righteous will shine like star of heaven. Thus manifesting the Glory of the Lord (Daniel 12:1-3). Mathew 6:4 says “that thine alms
may be in secret and the father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.”
Evang Blessing Asim continued by noting “As children of God it is important to give without boasting or go about telling people that you gave alms to somebody because giving is a means of evangelism. Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ was a giver he feed five thousand people and his giving attracted more souls to follow him.
“Your gift can win soul for Christ, when you give alms to people and also give money to support the work of God, it enhances outreaches or Crusades”.
According to her, “there are many ways to work for God to receive a great reward. As an intercessor join the prayer band, as a vocalist join the Choir, as a security Officer join the ushering unit, as a sanitation Officer join the sanctuary unit etc”.
She gave examples of how to receive God’s great reward which includes being born again Mathew 6:33, Obey the Lord Roms 6:16, preach the Word of God Timothy 4:2, Be Vigilant 2 Peter 3:9, avoid anxiety – Philippians 4:6, Live Upright Genesis 37:7, Beware of pride James 4:6, and be Disciplined Proverbs 20:17.
The following Bible verses are of great importance Rom 4:4, Corinthians 3:8, 2 Timothy 5:18, Hebrew 2:2, 2 John 8, Proverbs 14:23, and Revelation 14:13.
Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, threw more light on the theme saying that the guest speaker had done justice to it and appreciated God for the wisdom upon her life.
According to him, “my wasted years have come and gone, but today God has turned it for good – Amen.
He says, “unmerited reward as a result of your faithfulness to the things of God “. It works when you are diligent and steadfast in the face of God. Esther was a good example in the Bible. Her sincere role in saving the life of the King launched her to great reward as a Queen in a strange land.
“Until that dark shield is removed from your face, God’s great reward will be far from you”, the Prophet says.
“David, Joseph and Job were faithful and God gave them great rewards – Amen!”
The seven points prayer were delivered by Apostle Ubong Thompson as led by the spirit. He began by appreciating God for his mercies upon our lives.
He prayed according to Psa. 45:17, Gal 6:9 and Psa 103:13; respectively to back the prayers.
The ministration was awesome and touching. God is always there for his children. He came in Glory and delivered the afflicted and set the captives free during the service.
First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
