“Like Father, like son”. This was exactly what played out during Friday’s Service tagged “the Storm is over”. Anywhere you see the Father, the Son is there”.
The stage indeed is ripe for the General Overseer of God’s Arena Of Liberty (GOAL), Prophet Sunday Obi to commence his Evangelical mission outside without fear nor worry as his Son had successfully demonstrated that he can wear the shoes of his father rightly in his absence.
Many were shocked on what God used the Son of the Prophet to do during the service. It was great and mighty in the eyes of God. The grace of his father showed up in reality. It was another moment of testimony and anointing. A new day, a new beginning. Each service has its own uniqueness and peculiarity.
There were testimonies from the beginning of the service till the close of service. The spirit of God overwhelmed every storm from the pit of hell. The Holy Spirit was manifest in glory. The Lord showed His grace upon the Son of Prophet. In all, we give God the glory that GAOL has come to stay – Amen!
Speaking, the Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen, had held sway for Prophet Sunday Obi who had traveled for her daughter’s traditional marriage. Truly, he is like Father, like Son. The spirit is one. And there was no vacuum in the things of the spirit – glory!
He was full of appreciation to his Father and His Master Jesus Christ the Son of God for using him to quench storms of life surrounding them. As they went the other side, there was storm and they beacon on Jesus for help and He gave them victory and peace, Amen!
The service was very unique. It was the Lord’s doing. No man can share His glory with Him – Alleluia!
The Intercessory prayer points were anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson, a seasoned Minister of God. He began by appreciating God for all his mercy and grace upon our lives.
Singing; “What manner of man is Jesus Alleluia! He made lame to walk and the blind to see”. He said a storm is an attack on health, marriage and our finances. It could be spiritual and physical.
He prayed and decreed that every storm from the pit of hell should be calm in Jesus Name Amen, that God should watch over us in the midst of every storm, Lord speak a word and calm the storm, that no storm shall destroy my life, family and marriage, prayed against fear, against storm stopping us from serving the Lord, prayed for wisdom to navigate from storms in Jesus Name Amen.
He prayed according to the following Bible verses: Psa 108:29/Roms 8:3-3/1 Cor 10:13/ Jas 1:5/Isa. 54:17/Psa. 55:16/18:12.
The Intercessory prayers were terrifying and spiritual that the atmosphere became stuffy for the storms of life to withstand. There was fire everywhere in the premises. The Holy Spirit had already positioned Himself for action. Amen!
The thirty minutes worship was revealing. The testimonies were glorifying. Also, ARENA Echo International choir sang her Special No “I wanna be where you are”. It was glorious indeed.
Apostle Ubong Thompson had earlier introduced the guest speaker, Son of the Prophet, Prophet Victor Onen to deliver the Word.
Onen started by appreciating God for the service and all he has done in our lives. He said that the storm is over according to the theme if we only believe. Our God is a great God. Life is a storm. We all have our individual storms. It could be spiritual or physical.
Taking his message from the Bible Text: Mark 4:35-41 saying “This is a MESSAGE OF HOPE AND TRANSFORMATION SERVICE! I came here today for that brother, for that sister that is going through a STORM. I came anointed by God to tell anyone that believes that THE STORM IS OVER!”
In John 6:63 – Jesus said the words that I speak to you are spirit and they are life” – that means words are spiritual and can transform your life. JUST BELIEVE!
According to him, “the presence of a storm does not validate the absence of God! And the silence of God is not the absence of God! (Jesus was in the ship, yet there was a storm!).
“Hear me: Even when you can’t TRACE HIM in the storms of life, TRUST HIM! If you know and understand WHEN AND WHY storms come – you will survive and manage them well”.
When do storms come?
In the evening of life and destiny – Mark 4:35 (When you’re close to entering a new season)
When you want to cross over to the other side, to greatness and fulfill prophecy.
He says, “Every time you want to cross over to the other side – a storm will emerge. Do not fret! It is a sign you’re on track! There was no storm until Jesus said let us go to the other side! WHY?
“In every storm, there is a hidden stock to collect, he says. He prophesied that every evil storm stopping you from getting your blessings, they are over today in Jesus Name Amen!”
“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall, I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?”
,”Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for God is with me.And if God be for me, who can be against me?”
He is the same yesterday; He is the same today, He is the same forever He is my light! My salvation! My law giver! My way maker! My refuge! My fortress! My Strong tower! My Helper! In Him I live, I move and have my being
“Storms come to create fear – Mark 4:40 – they come to attack your faith in God! Those that do not fear the storms of life will storm into their destiny! Fear is an insult to God! Fear fears those that do not fear fear! God has not given us the spirit of fear!”
“In the midst of the storm, Jesus was sleeping! Why? He knew how it was going to end, He knew it won’t kill Him because He’s destined to die on the cross!”
“They come to make you forget who you are and the promises of God – Isa 43:2 NKJV Storms come, so you forget who God is and how powerful He is – Mark 4:38. They suddenly forgot who Jesus was and all the miracles He did in Mark 3:1-11 before they entered the ship. Just like the children of Israel forgot all the acts and mighty power of God that delivered them in Egypt from the hands of Pharaoh because they faced a storm – Ex 14:10-12”.
“Storms come so that you can forget how much God loves you, they are distractions – Isa 49:15-16. Storms come to make you forget the word of God – Mark 4:35 (Let us cross over to the other side)”.
He declared “Every storm stopping me from entering my new season and promotion, your time is up in the name of Jesus! Every storm stopping me from crossing over to my greatness and influence, in the name of Jesus be terminated now!”.
Earlier, he had offered corporate prayers according to the theme of the service. He prayed against every storm of life, against foundational storms, against manipulation in our lives, against every evil altars, against storm of affliction and prayed for single men and women that God should rewrite their story in Jesus Name Amen.
The ministration was divine and glorious in the sight of God. Many were transformed. There were restored hope. They believed and trusted in the Lord. There was joy, peace and love in the house. Actually, the storm was over.
God honoured His Word and took away their storms. There was life and joy amongst worshippers. His presence was Mighty.
The church prayed for the success of the General Overseer’s journey in Jesus Name Amen.
