My Administration Shall Invest In Youth Development – Hon.Iyadim


The Chairman of Bakassi Local Government Area of Cross River state, Hon Iyadim Amboni, has restated his commitment  towards the development of youths  through capacity building with a view of creating a better tomorrow for the area and the society in general.

Iyadim made this known while receiving the executive members of “ARISE Gospel Empire” led by Prosper E B Offiong ,during  a courtesy call in his office

To achieve this, he said, “I  will relate with youths positively by carrying them along. He advised them tobe proactive as well as key into the Council’s human  development program to improve themselves”.

According to him, “the take over of the skill acquisition center in the area  by the council is a right step in the right direction which will impact the youth positively”.

Said he, “with the completion of all uncompleted accessories components at the center , the council intends to install vocational equipment to commence training in many trades for the youths and other stakeholders”.

He stated that part of his expected wards tour will afford him and other elected members of the council an  opportunity to know the requirements of  youths in their respective wards, it will enable it to  move Bakassi from rags to riches.

Earlier, the leader, Prosper E B Offiong, disclosed that the group which is domiciled in Bakassi Local Government area ,is not only a singing group but also explores other positive ways to better the lots of youths.

Offiong said they have used many organised ways  to draw youths to see the need for positive livings within añd outside their environment.

He  further ssid that the group intends to organize  its annual  Independent and Unity Concert ,a program they started in 2018, and solicited for assistance from the council  to make it a success while pledging their preparedness to participate in the Council’s forth coming Thanksgiving Service
