The Senior Special Assistant to the Cross River State governor on Social networking, Florence Obi Anyia,, has lauded the governor Ben Ayade, for creating the department in his administration.
She made the remarks in an interview with our Correspondent in her office recently in Calabar.
According to her, “social networking is a veritable tool to connect the World with the state, especially on the industrial and agro-based policies and programmes of the state government in this 21st century.
“Social networking has created a window to show case the potentials that abound in the state in the area of industrialisation and Agro based policies of Cross River State governor, she added”.
While commending the governor for being so passionate on rh4 need for social media networking with the outside world, she said, that there is a lot to gain in social media connectivity.
This has provided ample opportunities to let the world know the potentials of the state, through several media contents.
Anyia said, “my office as SSA has helped in promoting our potentials outside this state. We have also reinvigorated the social governance structure and linkages between government and the public “.
The office, she said, amongst other issues has enhanced the interface with the public so as to harness the energy from the social atmosphere and present the policies/programmes of the state government in a credible light…
The state she said has been projected in and outside the world through the various network platform. Wherever you are, you can goggle any information concerning the state.
“Ayade , our digital governor is a committed and seasoned administrator of our time. Cross Riverians are blessed to have him as our dear governor”.

Anyia lauded his vision and dreams which had highlighted the state in good disposition as one of the states where dividend of democracy is on course.
While commending the governor for his industrialisation strides, she appealed to Cross Riverians to give him the needed support to do more.
She described Ayade as “an exceptional leader of time, saying he has surpassed his predecessors in the area of industrialisation which is scattered across the 18 local government areas of the state.
With these achievements, “we are proud to have him as our dear and pragmatic governor, she added”.
She expressed hope that these industries would completed and commissioned before the end of the tenure of Senator Ben Ayade, the Executive governor.
Therefore, she, urged the governor to be more focussed and committed in his quest to rewrite the story of the state as an industrialised state.
She commended the governor for encouraging the development and Return Of agriculture in the state and called on him to do more by ensuring that farmers are empowered with farming implements.
“By so doing, the state will grow from a civil service state to an industrialised state, she noted”.
