Obubra Local Government Legislative Council in Cross River has cleared the nine nominees that appeared before the house for screening on Tuesday.
Among the nominees, was a University Don/Geophysicist in the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), Dr Atan Obeten Egor, who took a bow as Secretary of Council for his towering personify profile.
Two former law makers of the Councils’ legislature, in the recent past, Hon. Orim Okpa Etaba and Hon. Francis Iyamba were also screened in their worth with the former as Supervisor and the latter as Special Adviser to the Chairman, on Peace and Security.
The other six nominees were also very impeccable personalities of proven integrity with whom pundits have extolled their nominations as depicting the idiomatic selection of oranges from the peas.
They include, a business mogul, Mr Sunday Ayang Okorn aka (STALION), Mrs Florence Obaji, and a renowned consultant, Mr Egba David.
Others are Pastor David Irek, Mr Sylvester Oden and Mr Ogar Onyam Egbe.
