Jesus avenged for those who were weak and acknowledged His Mighty Power

By: Phil Adams/Vitalis Ugoh, Calabar

The theme for the Communion Service is “The Covenant Day of Vengeance”. Every Communion service has always placed Satan on a high jump. He is never stable. Always on his toes ready to escape the wrought of God. But today’s service took the devil unawares as many that attended the program got answers to their prayers as there was a new dawn in their lives.

“Vengeance is of the Lord. You can not fight the fight on your own. You need Christ”.

Matthew chapter 11:28-30 says “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
“For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

For you to access the Lord’s vengeance, you must show considerable conviction or relative evidence of cordial relationship with God. It must come with commitment and consistency. It must show in your service to the Kingdom of God.

God does not demand anything from you except your service and to win souls for His Kingdom.

And so, the Communion Service was exceptionally spiritual and powerful. There was a great synergy between the Choir and the Prophet.

“Great, the Arena Echo International choir was connected with the spirit of God during the service session which prompted the Prophet to applaud them”.

Truly, the few that came went home happy as they were uprooted off from their different prisons spiritually.

The Lord, indeed, was manifest in His Glory. The eyes saw and glorified His Holy Name.

Sincerely, God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi was fully prepared for the service, as he touched as many that were sorted out.

Apostle Ubong Thompson

God truly avenged for His people during the service – Alleluia!.
,
Delivering the Intercessory prayers, Apostle Ubong Thompson, offered prayers according to the Word.

He prayed according to Exd. 14:14/Nus 23:23/Deut 32:35/Psa.94:1//7;6 and Isa.8:9.

Ubong says “vengeance is an act of taking revenge or punishing someone’s wrong doing. Psalms 94:1 states, “O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs— O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth!”

After this was the thirty minutes worship session that powerfully ignited the entire vicinity ready for the battle for vengeance by God Himself Alone. Him alone is worthy to be praised.

Each worship session during the weekly services has its own separate uniqueness spiritually. The angels too appreciated this hour dedicated to God Almighty.

At this juncture, every demonic spirit trapped inside the hall began to freeze as the Holy Spirit descended on them one after the other. It is a spiritual warfare and was dealt with spiritually.

Earlier, the ARENA Echo International choir had rendered a powerful song entitled “Favour will cover me like shield”. The congregation appreciated the choir in an amazing noise.

God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi in his simplicity and humble manner, introduced an old time Minister of God, Pst. David Ibe to the Pulpit to deliver the Word taken from Deuteronomy 32:35.

God says “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.’

Pst. David Ibe delivering the Word

He declared divine justice and breakthrough upon our lives today.

Ibe says “Covenant is an Oath or binding agreement between two or more persons while Vengeance is like harming someone in retaliation for something that they have done, or payback or retribution.

He said God’s Covenant promise is divine in nature, it protects, it gives justice and vindicates. (2 Sam 7:11:1¹) Gen 9:8/12:1-3.

“As a believer, you must stand firm in faith by trusting in God’s promise, have confidence and persevere (Rom 4:19-22, Job 1:2/2 Tim 4:6-8)”.

You must have divine vindication, by proving your innocence, uphold justice, and exalt his people (Gen 39:4 and Acts 2:24).

Pst. Ibe went on to talk about the purpose of vengeance which include, to remove tears, sorrow and comfort God’s people (Isa 61:2),
for healing, deliverance and breakthrough (Isa 65:3-10), for upliftment (Lk.2:22), to confirm God’s righteousness (2 Thes 1:6) and for judgement (Jer 20:10-13).

Pst. Ibe thereafter made the Altar call because if you have not given your life to Jesus, you can never access his vengeance.

The service had two important guests that worshipped with us. They are Pst. Emmanuel Ojong who came down from Qatar on a visit and Hon (Mrs.) Albenta Jerome Ojong, SA to the governor on Religion Central.

The congregation welcomed them warmly.

The corporate prayers were offered by the visiting Minister Pst. Emmanuel Ojong after a brief exhortation.

He prayed for deliverance from demonic prison, for grace to receive kindness, grace to overtake, grace to pull off every evil garment, for provision of bread, for yearly financial allowance, as well as for continuous daily raise. See (2 Kings 25:27-30.)

A cross section of the congregation

He raised powerful prayer points as the congregation joined in claiming his prophetic declaration.

God’s own general, had earlier prophised that there would be abundance of healing, deliverance, breakthrough during the service. He declared that it is going to be a new beginning – Alleluia!

Assuredly, it came to pass as he prophesied. There was anoniting overflow in the church during ministration by the Servant of God.

Prophet Obi had earlier prayed for the keyboardist whose property was stolen a few nights before. He prayed and made powerful declaration against the thieves.
