The God of this ARENA has never slept nor slumber. He is a living God and has never abandoned nor forsaken His Own. He is alive and anytime you call upon Him, He answers.
The devil is a powerful and deceitful being. He knows when to strike or when to manipulate his victims. However, at last, he must bow down to Jesus.
The Good news is that he has never in the of history of mankind defeated Jesus in any circumstance. He is a failure forever and ever – Amen!
It was announced during the last Tarry Night for the year that the preceding Friday service is going to be “feet wash”, but some people allowed themselves to be manipulated and they stayed away from the service, denying themselves of the opportunity to be cleansed from the devices of the enemy during the ember month.
But hear this, thus says the Lord “I am with you always, where two or three are gathered I am there in your presence” – Amen!
The few that honoured their God by attending the feet wash service went home in victory. They had a great encounter and experience with Jesus – Alleluia!
As the theme of the service implies, Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen as led by the Holy Spirit anchored the Intercessory prayers.
He started by appreciating God with praise and worship songs for His mercy and benevolence in our lives.
He decreed and declared by the anoniting of the Blood of Jesus, I cut off from every evil pronouncement in my life, my family and my children, I bind every satanic manipulation and strongholds in my life, I nullify every evil decision upon my life and I condemned them by the blood of Jesus, I cancel every bad news, whether sickness, death, accident or kidnapping in Jesus Name Amen.
He also prayed against the weapon of the devil and cancelled every device of the enemy in all that concern us – Amen!
This session took a warfare stance, as the kingdom of darkness began to shake and quake. Thereafter, God’s presence manifested in Glory. From henceforth, He took over the service. And things began to take their proper shape.
The testimonies were glorifying and rewarding to the glory of the Lord. It was revealing. It was touchy. The hearts bled. There was joy, hope and restoration in the soul of many that listened to the testimonies as many others keyed to them.
The ARENA Echo International choir had earlier rendered her Special No. “Am born a winner”. It was melodious. It was received with a loud ovation. Even the Prophet himself could not help but to acknowledge their efforts.
The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi had earlier danced round the choir stand before the main thirty minutes worship moment. He doesn’t play with worship session during any service.
Prophet Obi had always said that his concern is mainly to touch humanity. “Whether, it is one or two persons in the fellowship with challenges, I am glad and will be happy to touch them. God sent me on a mission and I am hear to accomplish it”.
After emphasising the need for the feet wash to the congregation, he humbly as usual ushered in the guest speaker, Pst. Mrs. Bridget Orim to the Pulpit to present her message with the theme: “engaging in spiritual warfare”.
It was the moment that we have been waiting.
She started by appreciating God Almighty for seeing us through the end of September and has taken us into October.
The theme is to teach Christians on how to confront and resist spiritual attacks, forces through prayers, faith and righteous living.
She explained spiritual warfare as ongoing battle between the forces of God and the forces of darkness – Eph. 6:12.
Pst. Bridget Orim listed things we need to know before embarking on the spiritual warfare. They are, stand firm in faith -Eph.6:16, wear the armor of God Eph. 6:11-13 and know the Word.
Others are, don’t plan evil, fellowship with others, worship and sing praises, and always be watchful.
She declared healing for those who had listened to the word – Amen.
The following Bible verses are of great importance. 1Peter.5:8-9/James.4:7/Eph 6:10-18/Joshua 6:3-5/Exd.17:8-13.
It was rewarding at the end. There were healing, blessings and revival amongst the congregation.
Finally, she offered warfare prayers to wrap up her teaching to the glory of God -Amen!
Speaking, God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi had said, you can not be free from the hands of the evil ones, until you speak the Word. You must be up and doing. Learn to speak in tongues. Learn to praise and sow seeds.
Thereafter, he swung into full ministration. Victims were identified as their challenges were addressed one after the other to the glory of God. They came, they saw and they conquered.
The Feet wash took place as directed by God Himself. It was smooth and spiritual.
The Son of the prophet had anchored the corporate prayers according to the directive of the General Overseer.
He prayed that the God that got Peter out of prison shall be our God, that God should destroy every Herod in our lives today in Jesus Name Amen, deliver me like you delivered Paul and Silas, and raise a man to fight our battle in Jesus Name Amen.
Highlight of the service was the announcement of the would-be couple Sis. Ishong Blessing Ukwem and Bro. Odey Emmanuel Innocent. The wedding is billed for November 29, 2025.
First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
