By: Phil Adams/Vitalis Ugoh Calabar

It is an established fact, that we are serving the living God. He is the God of impossibility. He is a reliable and unchangeable God. He calls us “my people”. He knows our hearts. He loves all with the same affinity, no discrimination. What he does for one, He does to all.

He is a merciful God. The God of impossibility. Messiah is His Name, Comforter, Abba Father, Redeemer, His Holiness, name them. That is who He is.

Above all, He is the God of ARENA. The talk and do God. His nature is Goodness. He did again penultimate Friday during the “Communion Service”. Glory be to His Holy Name Amen.

Prophet Sunday Obi blessing the Communion during the service

Communion Service had always been a unique experience in God’s Arena Of Liberty GOAL aka Enough is Enough. Usually, it will start as if people will not attend service, but at the end, the hall was filled. The devil will think that he is powerful, but God has the Supreme authority over him.

The theme of the service is “From nobody to somebody”. The text is taken from Roms. 9:25-26.

During the service, God proved His sovereignty and inclusive nature, showing that His love extends beyond race and tribe,

It shows God’s transformative love, which redefines identities and welcomes people from all walks of life into His family

The theme also reminded believers of their relationship with God. John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”⁰.

Prophet during the worship session

God proved His sovereignty and power during the Communion Service as He transformed all manner of people at the service.

The Intercessory prayer points were powerful and precise to the point. It was igniting and spiritual. The Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen went spiritual as he anchored the session.

He prayed for change of story from nobody to somebody-Amen, Oh Lord, I reject any pain, curse, oppression in my life, change my name for good, Oh Lord, let the oil of honour pour upon my head during this service, I need the oil of goodness and open doors, let my destiny helpers locate me and the same way you did to the people of the old, do it for me.

The testimonies were glorifying and heart touching. The Lord is always there to honour His Word in the lives of His people – Amen!

The thirty minutes worship session was exceptional. There was the move of God as usual. It was unique and inspiring.

Thereafter, the ARENA Echo International choir rendered her Special No “Unchangeable God” to the cheering of the congregation, even the Prophet could not hold his joy as he danced and decorated the assistant choir with the “mantle”.

Prophet Sunday Obi had earlier expressed his disappointment over the attitude of believers who only come to program only when they have challenges. God is not mocked. He said very soon, it will take people weeks or months to see me.

However, he said, God is ready to change the story of those who trust and believe in Him. Today, God will change your situation from nobody to somebody – Amen.

In his usual humble manner, he ushered the guest speaker and an old Minister of God, Pst Vitalis Ugoh to the Pulpit to present his message.

Appreciating God, he sought for the help from the Holy Spirit to lead the way as he present the Word.

“Hear this, transformation from “nobody to somebody” can only be possible through God’s divine intervention and grace”.

“Romans 9:25-26 highlights God’s love and redemption for all people, regardless of their background.

It emphasizes God’s sovereignty and inclusive nature, showing that His love extends beyond race and tribe,

It showcases God’s transformative love, which redefines identities and welcomes people from all walks of life into His family

Transforming from “nobody to somebody” means the discovery of one’s true identity and purpose in Christ, learning from past pain, developing self-worth not based on others’ opinions, and fulfilling a God-given mission.

According to him, “a true transformation comes from connecting with the Creator, using life’s challenges to help others, and living a purpose-driven life”.

“Our true identity and purpose are not found in the opinions of others but in Christ. Through Jesus, individuals can understand their divine purpose and place in the world.”

Life experiences, even pain, are not wasted. People should use their past difficulties and weaknesses as a foundation for ministry and growth, transforming their pain into help for others,

He further said that negative internal thoughts and the media’s portrayal of “perfect” lives can damage self-perception. You can overcome these by looking to God’s perspective for true self-knowledge and acceptance.

“Everyone is created with a unique mission from God. Fulfilling this mission means living beyond personal desires for comfort or retirement, and understanding life’s greatness”.

God chooses the seemingly insignificant and uses them for His purposes. Like David, Gideon, and Moses, who were once overlooked or considered weak but became great leaders through God’s power.

Key Bible verses that illustrate this theme include Romans 9:25-26, which quotes Hosea stating God calls “nobodies” and makes them “somebodies”, and 1 Corinthians 1:26-27, which says God chose the “foolish” and “weak” things of the world to shame the wise and strong.

Individuals are changed from a state of weakness or obscurity to one of strength and importance because of God’s power working through them.

Biblical Examples:

David: Disregarded and overlooked, David was chosen from a shepherd’s family to become king, Gideon: God called a man who felt his clan was the weakest and he was the least in his family to defeat the Midianites. Moses: Despite his self-proclaimed poor speaking abilities and weakness, Moses became the great leader who confronted Pharaoh and parted the Red Sea. Rahab: A harlot who was a vital part of the defeat of Jericho and is listed in Jesus’ lineage, demonstrating God’s grace in transforming her from an outcast to an important ancentor.

Bible verses:
Rom:9:25-26/1Cor.1:26-27/1,Sam:16:7/Psa 39:4/Phil.2:3-4

Romans 9:25-26*: “I’ll call nobodies and make them somebodies; I’ll call the unloved and make them beloved. In the place where they yelled out, ‘You’re nobody!’ They’re calling you ‘God’s living children’.” This verse highlights God’s power to transform lives and give purpose to those who feel insignificant.

Ministration mood

  • 1 Corinthians 1:26-29: “Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”

Some biblical examples of people who went from nobody to somebody. They are: David: A shepherd boy who became king, David’s story showcases God’s power to elevate the humble and transform lives, Moses: A fugitive who led the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses’s story demonstrates God’s ability to use ordinary people for extraordinary purposes, Abraham: An ordinary man who became the father of many nations, Abraham’s story shows how God can take an ordinary person and make them into a somebody through faith and trust.

What to do to access transformation, you must have faith and trust in your God, Be humble,Obey God’s instructions, Prayerful and Serve Him genuinely

God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi had earlier, thrown more light on the theme. He said today God will use a destiny helper to change your life, he will cause your enemy to speak for you Amen, your enemy will fall into the pit he dug for you, and that you shall possess your possession in Jesus Name Amen.

Today, God will make you the head and not the tale, your marriage will be intact, you will get a job, your business will grow and your children shall progress in Jesus Name Amen.

Today, God will send on a journey like Joseph, somebody will bow down for you, trials are test from God, you shall overcome them, your pains will bring a new dawn in Jesus Name Amen.

The corporate prayers were offered by Apostle Ubong Thompson as the Holy Spirit led. He prayed for the lifting by God, to remove us from any form of stagnation, Oh Lord, where I was rejected, accept me back, Oh Lord, help me cross my path with my destiny helper, disgrace those who mock, and announce me.

The ministration was unique. There was no stress in delivery the victims from the captivity of the devil by the Prophet. God took over as He had promised to do whatever we asked from Him. He is the God of impossibility. He did all to His glory.

Thereafter, the Communion and Blood was served to worshippers as the Prophet released powerful declaration before the final closing prayers.

Two wedding invitations were read onbehalf of Rev. Kingdom Obi and Sister Blessing Ishong Ukwem on November and December 2025 respectively.

They came and went home with testimonies to the glory of God Almighty.

First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
