Every year, second week of December is unique and very significant in the calendar of God’s Arena of Liberty (GOAL). Usually, it is always the last Communion Service to end the year. Also, it is the day that the Ministry ends her meeting and immediately switch to the new calendar – Alleluia!
It is very significant too because this is the day that the people submit their 2025/26 Annual Prayer Requests and Annual Thanksgiving Offering to God. As it were, these prayer requests shall be burnt on resumption as a sacrifice to God.
ARENA shall resume normal services on January 9th, 2026. These include, Counseling, Prayer mountain and weekly Friday service. This day, it shall be celebrating her 8th Anniversary in colours.
Be reminded that for the fact that Arena is shutting down, doesn’t mean we are separating from God neither should you stop praying to God. Remember, this is the time the devil strikes – festive period.
Like the theme says: “Praise To End Well.” This was the wonderful experience on Friday’s Service December 12, 2025. The people praised and danced to their open doors themselves. The Prophet was only giving instructions as directed by His Master Jesus and they obeyed.
There was joy, peace and love showing on the faces of believers during the service to mark the end of the year in ARENA. It was a total declaration of war against Satan and its agents, as the choir continuously raised praises to the glory of God. The instrumentalists were at their best to back up the ARENA Echo International choir.
It was all celebration from the beginning till the end of the service. It ended well in glory as the children of God resorted to praise all through – Amen!
The Communion Service has its own uniqueness and it manifested. The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi, had earlier said that the service was going to take a different dimension which came to pass. The Lord was upon him, issuing instructions which he passed onto the congregation. Those who keyed into the instructions got their visitation early enough.
The congregation ignored the persisting economic hardship and worshipped and praised their God. There were shouts of celebration in the house during the service.
Earlier, the Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen had presented the Intercessory prayer points according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. He began by appreciating the God Almighty for His mercies and compassion upon our lives.
He prayed to God that we shall all end well this year, there shall be joy, peace, celebration and testimony in our lives, let there be cause for us to rejoice as we praise you Oh Lord, cast away every battle going on in our lives via your intervention, battle in my marriage, children, career and in my business in Jesus Name Amen.
He continues “Oh Lord, deliver me from evil prison the same way you delivered Paul and Silas, from the imprisonment from our father’s or mother’s house as we praise you today and change my story so that the world know that you are my God – Amen!
The testimonies were glorifying and pleasing to God.
While appreciating God, the General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi, joined many in appreciating God. He thanked God for his life, family, the Ministry, the choir, Ministers and workers, elders and the entire congregation for being there for him over the past seven years.
He thanked God for not losing any of his Ministers, members and elders throughout 2025. He declared that we shall end the year in celebration.
Then, the moment for worship came and it was unique and pleasing to God. It can only be God. It ignited the spirit of worshippers ready for the service. The Holy Spirit of God manifested during this session.
The service was full of celebration as Pst and Rev Mrs. Breakthrough Besong Lambe gave thanksgiving for their successful marriage. They were honoured with a gift and welfare package from the church too. The couple donated a Bass guitar to the church in appreciation. Also, they appreciated Mrs. Blessing, for a successful wedding too and gave her a gift and welfare package as well.
This preceded with the first blessing from the Prophet with the splashing of water on the congregation after it was blessed.
And the hour came. The time to hear the Word of God with the theme “Praise To End Well” by Pst David Ibeh.
He appreciated God and attempted to define the theme taking his text from Psa. 100 to buttress his teaching.
According to him, ” a life that finishes with praise testifies that God keeps His promises. As long as we breathe, we can praise”.
Ibeh outlined benefits for praise to end well: These include, Divine presence and protection – Psa 22:3, renewed strength and hope – Isa 40:31, shifted perspective from problem to promise – 2 Chro 20:21-22, Peace – Phi 4:6-7, victory over fear and bondage – Acts 16: 25-26, legacy of faith for other – Rev 7:12, fulfillment of God purpose – Psa 50:23 among others.
Emphasising further on the Word, Prophet Sunday Obi referenced Psa 100 to buttress his teaching. He recounted the numerous benefits of praise and advised believers to always rely on praise to bring down the glory of God.
Praise leads to close and effective communication with God. It draws you near to God.
And it was time for the release of the second blessing via the anointing oil. This was done by individuals as they anointed their forehead and their palms.
Prophet Sunday Obi declared that 2026 will bring open doors, and that there shall be three big weddings in ARENA.
Five prayer points were anchored by the Son of the Prophet. He prayed for heaven to identify us for celebration, every spirit of fear to die, I shall not end this year in tears and shame, prayed against evil spirits, every Pharaoh in my life, let them be swallowed in Jesus Name Amen.
Finally, the Major Prophet of our time, released blessings upon blessings on the people. There will be cause for celebration before the end of the year in Jesus Name Amen!
