Okoyong Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, Akamkpa-Okoyong, in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River, have; concluded arrangements for a Civic Reception in honour of the State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu for his visionary leadership and overall transformation of the state.
The event which is slated for Wednesday, December 17, 2025.under the distinguished Chairmanship of Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter Governmental Relations Mr Oden Ewa at Okoyong Traditional Rulers Council Hall, Unyin, Okoyong in Odukpani, would also feature award of traditional titles to some distinguished sons of the state as Anta DUNUO respectively.
The long list of awardees include a Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on General Duties Barr (Dr) Ekpenyong Akiba who is billed for the prestigious traditional title of ANTA DUNUO ANKIONG 1 of Okoyong among others.
According to a statement issued by the Okoyong Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, the award is in recognition of his outstanding service and contribution to humanity.
