The Executive chairman of Obubra local government area in Cross River, Hon. Kingsley Ibon Arikpo, has concluded “a deed of partnership” with a front line financial institution in the country, AG mortgage bank limited for critical infrastructural development in the local government area.
Arikpo went into the agreement in Abuja during the Africa housing awards on the bank at Shehu Musa Yar’Adua centre, venue of the ceremony.
The Chairman who made a notable appearance at the impressive ceremony with his dear wife Confidence applauded the strides of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr Ngozi Onyemuwa Anyogu Whose brilliant performances have earned the financial institution numerous awards hence setting the stage for the robust partnership with the bank for housing development in the country.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the Chairman intimated that this strategic collaboration will drive meaningful growth and access to affordable housing, healthcare facilities, and other essential infrastructures in Obubra..

Also in an interview with journalists at the event, an Abuja based estate developer Tpl. Dr. Ernest Joes described the partnership as a veritable tool for housing development in Obubra Council.
The town planner who is also a development partner of the bank further stated that the Chairman’s efforts which will propel dramatic changes in the Council area goes a long way to demonstrate his commitment towards improving the livelihoods of his constituents.
The colourful event which brought together various stakeholders drawn from both the banking and housing industries also had in the roll call, the Hon. Minister of Housing Development Arc. Ahmed Musa who featured as Special guest.
