They trusted in God’s will and got soft landing @ end of Month Thanksgiving Service – Alleluia!

It was all Thanksgiving and appreciation from the Servant of God, Prophet Sunday Obi as he narrated his domestic ordeal which could have taken his life, but God stood tall and saved him.


He declared “I am not better than those in the mortuary”. God saved me by His mercy and grace. I have every reason to be thankful”.


Continuing, he says “I have a covenant with God. He said that I shall not die young and nothing dies in my hands”.


They came too late. They failed in their evil mechanisation or manipulation. The power of God overwhelmed them.

There were sober reflections amongst the congregation after the narration of the domestic accident.


According to him, “the thief came to steal, kill and destroy but God was there to offer abundance of life, Alleluia!.


The thanksgiving continues with so many other people testifying during the end of Month service. They poured out their gratitude to the Lord.


The Intercessory prayer points was anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson as the Holy Spirit led him.


He prayed via the following Bible verses Jer29:11/1Corth 2:9/ Provb 4:18/Roms.8:19/Matt  21:12 and Psa. 60:12 respectively.


Ubong prayed that the Lord should turn His plan for us for good, that the Lord should give us soft landing, that we shall reap our rewards, as far as life is concerned, I shall manifest in your glory, all the goodness in my life shall continue to shine, and let my light continue to shine brighter and brighter in Jesus Name Amen.

He prayed that Lord every destiny challenger be destroyed, restore my destiny wherever they have kept them, I shall not die, but shall live to fulfill my purpose in life, I shall not die young, destroy every darkness in my life and Oh Lord, may I receive grace to fight our enemies.


The thirty minutes worship was amazing and rewarding as they congregation submitted to the Will of God during the session.


It was ably anchored by the ARENA Echo International choir to the glory of God.


Thereafter, the giant of Africa, Prophet Sunday Obi, looking ever cheerful and joyful introduced the guest speaker, one of the youngest Minister, Pst. David Ibe John, to present his message.


He said, “God’s plan for you is for good for those who love Him”.


Referencing Jer  29:11, he queried, have you ever wondered what the purpose holds for you. Have you ever felt uncertain or insecure about what’s next”.
Ways to fulfill your purpose include knowing God’s plan for you Jer.29:11- His plan is to prosper us not to harm us. He gives us hope and a future.


Roms. 8:28 says, God’s plan is for good.
Furthermore, Pst Ibe said, God’s plan involves our participation according to (Deut.28:1-2), God’s plan is rooted in love (1Jhn 4:8). His plans for us is motivated by His love for us and it is designed to bring us closer to Him.

Also, he said, “we must trust in God’s guidance (Provb 3:5-6), trusting God’s guidance is a choice, God’s guidance is always available (Psa 82:8), trusting God’s guidance requires faith (Heb.11:1). We must have faith that God knows what is best for us, even when we cannot see it.”


Continuing, he said, trusting God’s guidance brings peace (phi.4:6-7), we must seek God’s Will (Matt 6:33). This requires humility (psa.25:9), it involves prayers and meditation ( Psa. 119:105), it brings charity and direction (prov.3:5-6), it preserves through challenges (Rom.8:28) God is always with us (Deut 31:6), it persevere and produces character (Rom. 5:3-7) and perseverance leads to victory (1Corth 15:57).


He went ahead to mention men in the Holy Bible who never allowed their future to be fulfilled. They are Esau, Saul, and Judas Iscariot.


Those who fulfilled their purpose were Joseph, David, Daniel and Jesus according to Bible records.


Ibe said “fulfilling our future requires trusting in God’s guidance, seeking His Will, and persevering through challenges. Remember, God has a plan to prosper us and give us hope. Trust Him and He will make your path straight “.


The Prophet had directed his Son, Victor Onen to anchor the seven point prayers via the theme of the service. The presentation was full of fire from the Prophet as he bind and cast out every thing hindering our purpose in life.


“Oh Lord God, we have come again to you seeking the fulfillment of our purpose in our lives, our purpose in life shall not be thwarted in Jesus Name Amen, every tampered star in my life, I collect them back, God will encounter our enemies in today’s service and restore all they have stolen from us, every foundation covering our purpose shall be uncovered today in Jesus Name Amen and I reject every sin of my parents speaking against my future.

Elaborating further on the theme, the giant of Africa Prophet Sunday Obi, identified ways to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives. These include, trust God and believe in yourself, transform yourself,be focused on God, avoid external influence, make choice of who you are, define your purpose and value yourself too

The service was extremely spiritual and less stressful for the Servant of God.


There were healing, deliverance and prophetic messages during the end of the month thanksgiving service.
