The Women Mobilisation Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has intensified grassroots engagement across Katsina and Abia States as part of efforts to harvest massive votes for President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2027 Presidential election.
In Ingawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, ward coordinators engaged residents at the community level, taking the Directorate’s message directly to the people.
The engagements are part of ongoing ward-by-ward, community-by-community; door-to-door activities designed to strengthen grassroots structures and ensure resounding victory for President Bola Tinubu.
In Danja Local Government Area, coordinators have continued engagements at women centres, schools, markets, vocational training centres, and homes, reaching women across different communities.
On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the team visited Layin Kwari in Ward 9, where discussions were held with women and other community members.
Representatives of Da’awa groups, led by Hajia Hussaina Haruna, and the APC Tazarce group, represented by Husna Haruna Abubakar, participated in the engagement
We believe in the power of grassroots massive mobilization. The Directorate’s grassroots strategy focuses on direct community engagement, particularly reaching women who may not ordinarily participate in formal political meetings or even rallies but would vote on Election Day!
In Abia State, members of Multiply Exceedingly, widows, and persons with disabilities have joined Abia Women for Tinubu/Kashim 2027 (TK27) through their association, Abia Widows of Great Vision.
The group held a gathering focused on unity, prayer, and fellowship, with prayers for Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu re-election, peace, and national progress.
They also offered prayers for Dr. Betta Edu, Director of Women Mobilisation, APC Presidential Campaign Council, ahead of her 40th birthday.
The gathering brought together women, widows, and persons with disabilities, reflecting their participation in the electioneering processes across Abia State.
Participants also pledged their commitment to the 40 Million Women Votes for Tinubu/Kashim 2027, with a resolve to remain united, organised, and engaged.
