Earlier, the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, joined his principal and Governor of the state, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, alongside top government officials and party leaders, to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, to Calabar for the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Rally.
Prior to the rally, Odey joined the Governor and other members of the delegation on a royal visit to the Obong of Calabar.
He also participated in the campaign rally held at the U. J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
