“As a believer, are you walking in Dominion? What is your lifestyle like – worthy of emulation.? Is there anything good that can come out of it? Does the spirit of God dwell in you. How many souls have you won for Christ as you walk in His authority. If you have not done any of the above, you need to have a rethink”.
Today’s theme is very apt and timely given the season we are in, season of celebration and remembrance. Does your life style qualify you for celebration or Remembrance? For me, I can conveniently say yes because I know who I am. What about you?
The spirit of God that is downloaded in us is the dominion, the supreme authority we have above every other god. No power can block the supreme authority of God in our lives when we know who we are in Christ Jesus.
Is your life active, continuous authority, control, and triumph over your circumstances rather than being mastered by them?.
As you key into the theme of the service, you will walk in His dominion and get your awaiting salvation before the end of the year Amen.
The Order of service began with the Intercessory prayer points anchored by Evang. Blessing Asim – PS 51:1
Heavenly Father have mercy upon me, cleans me from every strong hold of siin, Gen.1:28 – God! I take Dominion over territories, I dominate my job, business, career, marriage, promotion, ministry and health, Deu. 28:7,13 – Father, I ask for grace to rule over the nation -Esther 2:15-17, My God set men and women before me that will facilitate my enthronement, and Father I asked for grace for dominion.without the grace of God we can’t do anything in Jesus Name Amen!
The Intercessory prayer points were igniting and powerful. The Angels were at work to carry messages to Jesus.
The Prophet in the House had danced round the choir stand and the Altar in thanksgiving to God.
Thirty minutes worship was great and rewarding to the glory of God.
There were testimonies to glorify God during the service. The Arena echo international choir rendered her Special No to the admiration of worshippers.
Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, the General Overseer had earlier welcomed worshippers to the service promising that God shall visit each an everyone that attended the service in Jesus Name Amen
Earlier Prophet Sunday Enu Obi had introduced the guest speaker Pst. Joseph Azogor to present the Word with the THEME: “WALKING IN DOMINION”. Main Text: Gen. 1:26–28,Lk 10:19, Roms. 5:17, Ephs.. 2:6, Psa. 8:4–6, Colo. 1:13.
The Word:
“Walking in Dominion means living in the authority, power and victory that God has given to mankind through Jesus Christ. From the beginning, God created man in His image and likeness and gave him dominion over the earth and everything in it”.
“To walk in dominion is to live as a child of God who understands his identity, authority and spiritual inheritance in Christ”.
As a child of God, there are ways to walk in dominion as recorded in (1 Peter 2:9): You cannot exercise dominion effectively if you do not understand who you are in Christ.
Therefore, you must know who you are: A chosen generation, A royal priesthood, A holy nation and God’s special possession.
Walk in the Authority of God’s Word (Luke 10:19), Walk in Righteousness and Holiness
(Romans 6:14), Walk in Faith, Not Fear (2 Corinthians 5:7, Walk in Prayer and Spiritual Authority
(James 5:16).
Pst Azogor listed enemies of dominion to include,
- Sin and disobedience (Romans 6:23), Fear and unbelief (2 Timothy 1:7), Ignorance of God’s Word (Hosea 4:6), Prayerlessness (Matthew 26:41)
- Pride and arrogance (Proverbs 16:18) and Spiritual laziness (Proverbs 13:4) Other benefits of walking in Dominion are when you Enjoy confidence in God’s promises, Overcome fear and discouragement, Exercise spiritual authority through Christ, Become fruitful and productive and Fulfil God’s purpose for your life.
As Christians, we must demonstrate dominion in our everyday lives in our homes, by promoting peace and godliness n our workplaces, through excellence and integrity, in our churches, communities, through love and positive influence.
Dominion should be visible in our character, decisions, conduct and commitment to God’s purpose.
Walking in Dominion is not merely making declarations; it is living daily in the authority, grace and power of Jesus Christ. Remember, you must know your position in Christ, submit to His authority and apply His Word in your daily life.
Earlier Prophet Obi began by saying, “I expected almost everyone to come out when Altar Call was made by the guest speaker. Your problem is that you don’t know your right as believers. It is only man that God created in His own image, gave dominion and right to rule the world plus name all other creatures. – See Gen. 1:26-28. You have been empowered to trample upon all works of darkness and walk out harmless – Luke 10:19. Fear is a hindrance to walking in dominion – 2 Tim 1:7. To be fruitful is to be in dominion, your children are not doing well is to be out of dominion.
Authority is when you know your right. When you don’t have power, you don’t have a say in your marital home. You automatically become a slave in your home. God said, man should love his wife, wife should be submissive and not to be enslaved.
When you know your placement in authority, you don’t even have to pray in certain cases. You just thank God for provision and eat.
You should be in dominion at home, office and everywhere.
