Cross River state Deputy governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey has joined his principal and other sympathizers to condole former Aviation Commissioner, Chief Jake Otu Enyia over the demise of his dear wife who passed on to eternity recently.
In a condolence message to the Boki-born scholar and politician, Odey, expressed sadness at the unfortunate occurrence of the passage of Mrs. Christiana Enyia, describing her as “an extraordinary woman with numerous talents and virtues”
“As a chartered accountant, before her demise, she had an unwavering devotion to her faith, activism in the political arena, a women mobilizer and mentor of countless individuals”.
“Her diverse contributions to society stand as eloquent testimonies of her dedication and passion for the betterment of mankind.”

Regrettably, he said that “as a caring wife and mother, her love for her family was evident to all who knew her. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the lives of her loved ones. All who had the privilege of knowing her will feel the void of her passing”.
Odey noted that “the loss of a beloved spouse is an immense burden to bear, however, admonished the two-time state Assembly lawmaker to take solace in the Lord, for He Giveth and He Taketh.
He admonished him not to allow the cherished memories he shared with his late wife to depress him much and prayed for God’s fortitude for him and his family to bear the pain of the monumental loss.
Odey prayed for the soul of Mrs. Christiana Otu Enyia to find rest in the bosom of the Lord, Amen!.
