The Mbube Nation is proud to invite everyone to a grand reception in honour of their son, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, the Deputy Governor of Cross River State.
The event will take place today, December, 2nd, 2023 at the Lutheran Primary School Grounds, Ekumtak, Mbube, Ogoja.
The reception will serve as an opportunity for the Mbube Nation to celebrate their son’s political achievements and rise, and to show gratitude for his dedication and service to the Ogoja people and Cross River State in general.
The event promises to be a momentous occasion as dignitaries, government officials, traditional rulers, and well-wishers are already arriving Ogoja to show their solidarity.
The Deputy governor of Cross River State, who hails from the Mbube Nation, is a seasoned politician and administrator with a wealth of experience in public service and development practice.
He has continued to make significant contributions towards the development of the state and is noted for his outstanding representation during his time in the Cross River State House of Assembly.
The Mbube Nation will showcase their cultural heritage, traditions and customs during the reception.
The event promises to be a display of unity, love, and togetherness, as guests are already in Ogoja to witness the 13 communities of Mbube Nation come together to honour Hon. Odey.
