The theme of Friday’s Service was very apt and timely given the perilous times we are currently facing both in the country and the world at large.
No one knows the beginning and the end, except the Lord. Therefore, it is expedient for us believers to have a rethink in our character and relationship with the Lord for Heaven is real and hell is real.
It was a prophetic service. Everything about the service was upon declaration.
The service started with powerful opening prayers and thereafter the Intercessory prayer points anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson as led by the Holy Spirit.
He started by appreciating God for His kindness and mercies upon our lives. “Lord, I rest in your hands, you are my salvation, I rest in your hands”.
Apostle Ubong, prayed according to the following Bible verses to back up the Intercessory prayer points. Psa.60:11/91:1-3/ Job: 5:12/Isa.59:19/49:35/ Joel 2:25 and Psa 104:3.
He prayed that God should contend with those who contend with us, Exd. 14:14. Father I need your help for my family (Psa. 121), Father raise a standard against our enemies, destroy every pit dug against us, let them be buried inside them in Jesus Name Amen.
“Every evil agent monitoring my life let them die – Amen!, restore all that the cankerworm has eaten in our lives and frustrate every gathering that is not of God in Jesus Name Amen.”
The General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi, had expressed dismay over the attitude of some worshippers who only come to church to receive and thereafter vanish into thin air.
“This doesn’t portray good Christian life. God is not mocked either”.
2 Corinthians 1:9-10 says:
“Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead”,
“who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us”,
We can only be rescued from destruction when we renew our relationship with God by living a Holy life.
Thereafter, it was the time to worship God for thirty minutes with extraordinary praise and worship songs. As usual, it was inspiring and rewarding. The gate of Heaven was spiritually opened displaying diverse gifts and blessings for people to carry home.
These gifts and blessings were specifically for those with the understanding of the Word and obey the Lord. It is for those who have intimate relationship with God. They were rescued from destruction.
Obviously, the God of ARENA was visibly everywhere. His gifts and blessings were scattered everywhere too for those who trust and keep His Word. Oh! what a merciful Father indeed. He keeps to all His promises. It may tarry awhile but it must surely come to pass – Alleluia!.
The Arena Echo International choir took the stage as she presented her Special No. “He is my God, His Name is Yaweh” to the admiration of all. There was an appreciation from the congregation. It was special indeed. The angels acknowledged their voices.
Prophet Sunday Obi, who had earlier appreciated the hand of God upon his life, also thanked God for using the governor Sen. Apostle Bassey Edet Otu to bless the church as well as some members of Prayer Mountain previous week. Onbehalf of the elders and ministers, we appreciate the gifts. God bless you Your Excellency.
The glorious moment came and he introduced the guest speaker, Apostle Agnes Arop to the Pulpit to present her message titled “Rescued from Destruction”.
She appreciated God, seeking His Will in her life as she presented the Word.
Speaking prophetically, she said we are rescued from all forms of bondage in our families today in Jesus Name Amen. You will be restored, you will not die.
Citing John 10:10 which says “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”.
“Knowing Jesus Christ is an abundant experience in life. You will not die, no affection, no fear and no doubt”. Knowing Christ is a complete life experience. You fear no evil. You become a bold being. You are untouchable”.
Isaiah 59:19, says “So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him”.
“Rescued from destruction” means being saved or delivered from something that could cause harm, damage, or complete annihilation. It is God’s intervention in the lives of His people, saving them from various forms of danger, oppression, or sin.
She laid down some key aspects such as, Divine Intervention, Salvation and Redemption and Protection and Preservation.
The Bible accounts in Exodus how God rescued the Israelites from slavery in Egypt, Psalm 103:4, which says, “Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, and 2 Corinthians 1:10, “He rescued us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again”.
“He will surely rescue you. It doesn’t matter how long, cry not because you will surely be rescued”.
Trust and obey His Word at all times. Job 5:12 says “He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans”.
Today, I decree that you are coming out of that sorrow, pain, fear, affliction and poverty in Jesus Name Amen, and God will restore you back, there shall be joy and celebration once again, God is the way Maker, He is the Protocol breaker.
Isaiah 60:22 says “A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”
The delay is for a purpose. There is going to be a divine turnaround in your life. Believe in God. The hand of God is here for you in today’s service. This service is for you. Shame, disappointment, disgrace is not for you – Amen.
“The stone that the builder rejected shall become a cornerstone. Victory is assured. God has rescued us. Our help has come. Our destiny helpers shall locate us in Jesus Name Amen. Receive the divine peace of God in this service”.
Earlier, Prophet Obi had said, some of us have allowed Satan to use us as tools because of sin. Until you reject Satan and his ways, you can never be rescued from destruction. Today be rescued from destruction. He declared restoration, recovery and overtaking.

The Son of the Prophet, Victor Onen offered the corporate prayers by appreciating God.
He prayed against every trap of the enemy, for rescue from destruction, deliver us from evil gathering, I stand in the gap for my family and seek for divine rescue, and send us a deliverer and a helper.
The Word was rich and powerful. There were healing, deliverance and blessings. It paved the way for Ministration from the Prophet of our time. It was a great ministration as the Lord showed up Mightily.
Tarry Night comes up on September 26, 2025. There will be no service in the morning. Come with your family and friends. Time 9.00 pm till dawn.

There was a great reward. Several people were rescued from destruction during the service.
