Cross River State governor, Sir Ben Ayade has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Kingsley Ikpeme as Director General, Greater Calabar City Development Agency.
A statement issued and signed by Mr.. Christian Ita, Special Adviser – Media & Publicity to the governor, said Ikpeme’s re-appointment is with immediate effect.
Speaking in a telephone interview, Ikpeme lauded governor Ayade for finding him worthy for the re-appointment.
He said “it is not a new office, but we are coming to continue from where we stopped. The reward for hard work is more work.”
According to him, “His Excellency has challenged us and we are challenged to achieve more and we are prepared for it”.
He said “with this we shall deliver on our mandate”.
