The Chairman of Bakassi Local Government Area Hon Chief Iyadim Amboni Iyadim says he owes the people the price of taking them to greater heights.
Iyadim who made the pledge in his new year message, explained that at the commencement of a new year, it is imperative to appraise the events of the previous year with the view of making amends as well as strive to make things for the people,
According to him,” A time like this affords us the opportunity to take stock and forge ahead to render service which will benefit all sons and daughters of Bakassi”.
Iyadim therefore enjoined all sons and daughters of Bakassi to cooperate with the council and project and protect the area, adding that,” All hands must be deck to ensure Bakassi attains its pride of place”.
Reflecting on his recent award as the best performing local government chairman in Niger Delta Region for ” adding Value To Local Government Governance” ,he expressed that such an attainment spur him to do great things for the good of the people.
He said though the damages caused by hoodlums under the guise EndSARS in Bakassi was enormous, he is determined to render service which will turn around the fortunate of the area while calling on the people to be prayerful and seek the face of God in all they do.
He commended political stakeholders, Councilors, political appointees, and staff of the local government council for their efforts during 2020 and urged them to continue with the same spirit as he wished all ” A Happy And Prosperous 2021″
