A Commissioner of Police has been appointed.
He is CP Kayode Sikiru Akande.
Akande was promoted to the rank of CP following the death of former Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Late Jimoh Ibrahim.
He had arrived and resumed duties according to a statement from the Nigeria Police force Headquarters.
Akande was just promoted to the rank of a CP on Friday, 3rd July, 2020. He is fondly called; “Sikay”.
