The Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS) has commenced consultations on the need to establish a university of its own.
Following this development, the Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has directed the Universal Education Fellowship arm to put in motion the process which is at consultation level.
This is part of the infrastructural development within the Kingdom for the benefit of mankind.
This was disclosed to newsmen in Calabar yesterday by the BCS spokesman, Patriarch, Christ Shepherd Edet Archibong while briefing them on the number of activities lined up for the one week celebration of the 20th coronation anniversary beginning from 14th – 18th April, 2021.
He said “some expansion has been carried out on the Brotherhood Model School with additional classrooms and laboratories. Student and staff population have also increased during the period under review”.
He recalled that the coronation was carried out by the Ancient of Days who manifested as Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to establish the kingdom of God on Earth which He named “Brotherhood of the Cross and Star “
.
According to him, “the coronation signified the handing over of the Kingdom to the King of Kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, to rule over and bring to perfection”.
The Ancient of Days which manifested as Leader Olumba Olumba Obu was to come and establish the Kingdom of God on Earth, teach the people the ways of God and hand over the Kingdom to the Son of man”.
“Our Lord Jesus Christ said “believe me that I am inX the Father, and the Father in Me”(John14:11)”.
“The handing over of the Kingdom of God on Earth to the Son of Man, as prophesised in Hebrew 1:8 is what was signified by the coronation that took place on the 14th of April 2001, he said”.
The theme of the celebration is “His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu is the Custodian of all powers in Heaven and on Earth”.
Archibong also disclosed that the “purpose of establishing the Kingdom of God on Earth is to teach man the ways of God and transform the kingdoms of the world into the Kingdom of God. The King of Kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, has not spared any effort in this regard”.
Furthermore, he said, “during the reign of the king of kings and lord of lords, higher levels of priesthood ranks/pews have been created for the spiritual upliftment of His children. These are the mansion of Blessedness made up of Blessed Mother’s and her eminence, divine vanguards body, universal council of Christ Ambassadors, Archbishop, a higher rank in the College of Bishops and the First Heavenly Order of Christ Shepherds”.
He said “given the perilous times of the pandemic, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has not abandoned His children. He is in touch with them globally, comforting and reassuring them in real time, online. A loving Father indeed”.
He further explained that plans are on to establish more television stations across the country for disseminating the Kingdom message.
The programme of activities are as follows, April 12th, morning devotion, flag-off ceremony, visit to the Holy land, Biakpan -Ugep traditional rulers fellowship, April 13th, testimonies as directed by the Holy Father, April 14th, part One and part Two, keynote address by PCS Bassey Imowo, Dean College of Bishops and part Three grand finale and April 15th, general fasting.
Others are, April 16th, testimonies galore, evangelism, April 17th, Holy Father’s farewell message to the world, and April 18th, Thanksgiving Divine Service, varieties by states, nations, celebrities with the Holy Father and Holy Father’s advice and blessings”.
