In continuation of his Thank You Tour, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives’Congress, Sen. Bassey Otu and his entourage have visited the Paramount ruler of Yala, HRM Onah ipuole and his council of chiefs.
Addressing the paramount ruler and his chiefs, Chief Peter ojie elucidated that they have come with Sen.Prince Bassey Edet Otu to appreciate the the Yala people for their Support.
The state chairman of the party Barr. Alphonsus Eba said the party holds the Yala people in high esteem and the yala nation has a huge responsibility to install the next governor of Cross River State in 2023.
To this end, he noted that Sen Prince Bassey Otu have supported the northern Senatorial district to complete their tenure.
In his speech Prince otu thanked the Paramount ruler for supporting the government of the present Governor, Sen. Ben Ayade of Cross River State.
He promised to place the traditional rulers on a good renumeration as his administration will saddle them with greater responsibilities of ensuring peace.
He said the incoming administration will enhance agriculture and create a viable economy in Yala local government area.
The Paramount ruler expressed his happiness over the presence of Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and his entourage in his palace of and wished him victory in the forth coming 2023 Governorship elections.
He thanked God for safety of the APC Governorship Candidate contingent to the north an for bringing them to Yala land while wishing them a safe trip back to their destinations.
