WOMEN ARISE ASSOCIATION ORGANISES FIRST HANGOUT FOR MEMBERS IN STYLE

A non socio-political association “Women Arise” operating within the University of Calabar (Unical) community in Cross River State, has successfully organized its first hangout, penultimate September 23, 2022.

The hangout is coming few weeks after electing the executives to pilot the affairs of the association in the next three years.

This is the first major outing by the executive led by Comrade Rosemary Omogor Ugoh, as President.

Speaking, she said the idea was to calm down nerves shortly after the election and to unwine amongst members so as to begin the process of drawing new innovation to move the Association forward.

She said very soon, the association will begin to unfold series of programmes and activities aimed at moving the group forward as well as to benefit humanity.

She thanked members for making the outing “thick” and sued for more cooperation among members whenever they are called upon to do so.

Ugoh, prayed that God should continue to keep members of the association and our families intact by his Grace. 


The hangout actually brought out the best among members as they interacted and danced freely,  expressing joy and happiness.

“The large turn out of women today is an indication that they really need this kind of outing from time to time, she added.

“The times are hard. Hangout such as this help to reduce stress and worries. The women needed it at times like this. It was fun as you can see in the video and pictures.”
