Bakassi: Iyadim’s Interest On IDPs Plights Catches Attention Of A Group

The aggressive developmental stance as well as the proactive approach towards the Internally Displaced Persons IDPS by  the chairman of Bakassi Local Government Area, Hon Chief Iyadim Amboni Iyadim, has attracted the attention of the Nigerian – American Public Affairs Committee(NAPAC). 


Towards this end, the NAPAC Foundation has invited Iyadim to ” The Food Security and Economic Empowerment Project” which will commence with a lunch ceremony on Saturday, 1st October,2022 at the Conference Hall, Hogis Suite , Calabar before proceeding to the Bakassi Internally Displaced Persons IDPs camp.


This was contained in a statement signed and issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Frank Inyang in Calabar.


In an invitation letter jointly signed by the Vice President, NAPAC Foundation, Prof Rose – Margaret Ekeng – Itua and Amb Zainab Mohammed , Chairperson, Food Security Program, NAPAC Foundation, the Food Security Program of the NAPAC Foundation which has the support of the Cross River State Investment Bureau, is aimed at helping to curb hunger and hardship for 50% of the population of the Internally Displaced Persons IDPs in Bakassi.

According to them, ” The Nigerian – American Public Affairs Committee NAPAC Foundation was established in 2013 in Los Angeles, California with a mission to empower Nigerian – Americans and all people of color through policy impact, education, effective advocacy and economic empowerment”
