This incredible picture shows the display of high political maturity as the duo, the Speaker Cross River State House of Assembly and the Minority Leader have shown that they can work together in the common interest of the state.
Looking at their body language, both Hon.Elvert Ayanbem now Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly is telling the Minority Leader Hon. Neji Abang that we can work together despite our different political parties.
Hon. Ayambem was elected Speaker CRSHA under the All Progressives’ Congress (APC) while Hon. Abang, Minority Leader is of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Both Legislators are from Ikom local government area of Cross River State.
Commenting on the picture, Comrade Bassey Ntino commented their show of political maturity and urged them to maintain the cordiality as they tarry along in their legislative functions in the interest of all Cross Riverians.
The youth of the state should learn from this wonderful accord between two brothers in the State Assembly instead of engaging in destruction tendencies because of different political parties.
This, he said, is a very high political maturity been exhibited by Cross Riverians. We need to come together to rebuild the state.
