They started by beating her helplessly. Even those who wanted to help, dare not because they are afraid of the murderous youths; their own children from their own loins.
She was stripped naked. Woe betide the young that forcefully strip the old and elderly naked. It is a taboo in our culture. She cried but no one came to help.
Her thumbs were chopped off with a matchet. Tires thrown round her neck. Petrol poured over her. She fell to the ground and sat there wailing and begging till a young man stretched a stick and ignited a huge flame.
She cried louder again and no one came to help. Yet, some cops stood by watching as a poor tired soul was giving up the ghost in the midst of her own people.
What witchcraft can be more horrendous than participating in and watching a member of your own clan die so gruesomely?
Even the worst of our Earth, sentenced to die by our courts are to die with dignity. Not in such a callous manner in the hands of criminals menacing our communities.
The Police must bring the murderers to book NOW!
