The Management and Staff of the State Ministry of Health have continued to speak glowingly of their Commissioner, Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk for his leadership and friendly disposition which, they say, “is bringing out the best staff output in the Ministry”.
Leading the outpour of commendations, after successfully manning the health aspect of things during the just-concluded Independence Day Anniversary celebration in Calabar, the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. (Mrs) Pauline Obute, waxed lyrical about Dr. Ayuk’s leadership prowess and vast wealth of experience.

She posited that his emergence as Commissioner for Health has instilled discipline in staff, improved their work ethics and enhanced the overall output in the Ministry and its parastatals.
Obute expressed believe in the leadership of the Ministry, noting that with the new result-oriented standards set by the Commissioner, the health sector of the State is now primed for a major revolution.
Also speaking, the Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr. Casmir Ugbong, posited that the innovative and foresighted leadership of the Ministry has led to the rejiggering of the entire system, while hoping that the imminent results yield to the betterment of the citizens of the State.

Also, the Director of Administration, Elder Agbor Ajuk, revelled the significant impact the Commissioner has made in barely few months of his emergence, while hoping for better days ahead for the health sector of the State.
The trailblazing exhibition of the mantra of the ‘People First’ through healthcare led by the Commissioner and his able battalion in the State Ministry of Health during the celebration the 63rd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria in Calabar, offered a glimmer of the impactful and exemplary leadership of Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk in the Governor Bassey Otu-led administration.
