In preparation for the Carnival Calabar Festival, the
Cross River state governor, His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, held a Pre-Carnival Breakfast Meeting with captains/Chief Executive Officers of industries operating from the Calabar Free Trade Zone to collaborate with government during the festive period.
The governor was ably represented by his deputy, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey at the Pre-Carnival Breakfast Meeting organized by the Cross River State Carnival Commission to further give insight into the 2023 theme “Season of Sweetness”.
Hon. Odey conveyed Sen. Otu’s commitment to make this year’s carnival a season of sweetness that will flow into the next year.
He sought for cooperation and synergy between them and government to ensure that the Carnival Calabar Festival was a success.
