Minister Of Humanitarian Affairs Receive Moroccoian Ambassador In Abuja

Dr. Betta Edu,  Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has held a Strategic meeting with the Ambassador of Morocco His Excellency Ou Ali Tagma in her office in Abuja.

The Ambassador had paid her a courtesy visit at her office in Abuja with his delegation.

During the meeting, he pledged their support to the provision of durable solutions to persons affected by humanitarian crises in Nigeria while working with the government to eradicate poverty. 

He said the King of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed VI is popularly known as the “king for the poor” and is open to collaborations with Nigeria to tackle issues around poverty.

Earlier, Dr.Edu said “Africa must strategically collaborate with each other in order to eradicate poverty in the Continent.

She identified areas of collaboration between both countries while discussing other issues around migration and youth empowerment.
