Cross River state government is currently participating at the 3rd Conference Of the African Sub-Sovereign Government Network in far away Cairo, Egypt.
His Excellency, Deputy governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey is representing the governor, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu at the conference at the Intra-African Trade Fair in Cairo, Egypt organized by the African Import-Export Bank.
Deputy governor, during the visit hold critical meetings with the CEO of ARISE, Mr. Gagan Gupta.
ARISE was one of the companies that participated in the International Cooperation and Investment Summit held in Calabar earlier in September, 2023.
The company has investments in various sectors including transportation, energy and gas, in Gabon, Benin, Togo, Kenya and Nigeria.
