Words are not enough to express the joyful mood of the congregation during Friday’s Service tagged “unveiling the mystery of prayer and fasting” when the Servant of God, Prophet Sunday Obi, announced the presence of the Cross River state Deputy governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Peter Odey in God’s Arena Of Liberty (GOAL).
He came to say thank you to God for using the Prophet to touch his life during and after the general election in the state.
Odey who was represented by his political associate, Barr. John Orim, extended gratitude to God for making him have an encounter with the Prophet.
“This short and brief visit is to reassure you that better days are ahead, he added”.
The Deputy governor had appreciated the Prophet with a cash donation of #100,000 thousand.
In return, the Church through his representative prayed for the state His Excellency, governor Sen Bassey Otu as well as the deputy governor.
This development was a moment of joy believing that God does not lie nor fail His children. He does His thing at His own time – Amen.
And ARENA is on 7 days fasting and praying and on the fifth day God blessed the Prophet. This is an indication that God is faithful to those who wait upon the Lord. He will bless them and prosper them – Amen.
“Prophet Obi began to worship singing “we are running the race to meet the Redeemer”.
He thanked God for healing the wife, the sixth years celebration, thanked the Arena partners as well as members of the congregation for standing with the Ministry over these period – Alleluia!.
Earlier, Pst. Stanley Williams, had powerfully packaged the Intercessory prayer session.
He raised powerful prayer points from Job 14:14/Isa.60:1-3. It is our heritage to shine. Lord release my stagnation wherever, it is being withheld. There shall be no shame nor weeping in my family this year 2024.
He prayed from 2Pter 1:3: against whatever that is fighting our spiritual life, Oh Lord God, raise your power to terminate and destroy them in Jesus Name Amen.
Roms 8:14 – he prayed for God’s Divine connection, Nos 22:25 declaring war against evil altars and against demonic spirits.
Worship! Worship!! Worship!!!
This segment prepared the way for the Prophet to mount the Pulpit to present the Word “Unveiling the mystery of prayer and fasting”.
Prophet Sunday Obi, expressed sadness that believers are still not taking the things of God serious as they have refused to join in the one week prayer and fasting exercise. Still yet, they stay away from coming to serve God during Friday’s Service.
He says “prayer and fasting is like laying a foundation for your spiritual growth and future testimonies”.
According to him, “solid foundation is laid through fasting and praying”.
“Your prayers and fasting today is what sustains you tomorrow and in future. It prepares you for the raining days”.
Our God is merciful. He is always there for you and me when you keep His commandments. When you fast and pray genuinely, God will visit you – Amen.
Prophet Sunday Obi says ‘there is something spiritual behind fasting and prayers. There is something extraordinary and until the spirit of God begins to explain, you will not understand”.
Fasting and prayer is a direct communication with God. When you fast genuinely, you will see the oil of gladness and celebration on your face glittering and people will begin to ask you how did it happen?
He says, “when you fast and pray, it is the time to seek God’s direction. It breaks protocol. Matt.6:16-18.” Exd 24:8 described how Moses had enough time with His Father (God).
Fasting and prayer is a time of temptation. A lot of people run away from waiting upon the Lord. When you wait, God reveals so many things to you. Exd. 8:21-22.
Learn how to go on your knees and tell God what you want. Isa. 55:6. Fasting breaks every yoke. It sets us free from captivity. Joel. 2:12-13. It humbles and makes us sober. Your fasting is for repentance and forgiveness.
There are benefits when you fast and pray. It helps to grow your spirituality, you gets revelations from God, fees us from spiritual bondage, looses us from demonic powers.
The Service was too hot for the demons to stay put. There were healing, deliverance, blessings and prophetic messages.
The Prophet usually on top of issues, directed a seasoned man of God and a general overseer, Pst. Udah Okey to present 10 point prayers binding and casting out demonic powers in our lives and homes.
Spiritually, it was really hot in the kingdom of darkness. The battle was fierce and terrifying. It was a complete warfare battle with “the blood, anointed oil and water together”.
He raised the prayers from Job 14:2/Job.302 respectfully. It was too hot and spiritually loaded.
The highlight of the service was the introduction of Pst. Henry Abiam and Miss Tabemonso Irene Ayuk in their first “Marriage Bann” in ARENA come February 2024.The marriage shall be officiated by Prophet Sunday Obi.
Be informed that normal counseling and Prayer Mountain have resumed as usual, through Mons-Weds, Mons-Tues-Weds. Invite your friends and loved ones. Time 9am – 12 noon. God is in ARENA
