State and Public Servants in Cross River state, have been enjoined to use the joy of Easter celebration as renewed energy for service delivery in their various offices.
The Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions, Hon. Lawrencia Ita admonished workers to invoke the peace and hope ushered by the Divine season to display passion, commitment and dedication to duty.
Ita who stated this while addressing the staff of the Ministry Of Establishments , Training and Pensions while welcoming them back from the Easter holiday emphasized that the development of the state rest squarely on the shoulders of every Cross Rivarian who must as a matter of necessity, discard all forms of lackadaisical attitudes capable of affecting the state economy negatively.
She expressed optimism of astronomical economic growth hinged her hope on the positive and pragmatic approach of His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu’s socio-economic programs.
Hon Ita commended the governor for making the Easter celebration worth while with the prompt and timely payment of workers salaries, describing the gesture as motivational.
“We must all brace up and deliberately render unflinching support to the Governor in order to guarantee the attainment of the lofty objectives of the state.’ she emphasized”.
