The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Non Indigenes Affairs, Mazi Okey Maduekwe, has called charged the Yoruba Community in Cross River state to continue to be law abiding so as to position themselves to reap the benefits of the dividend of the season of “Sweetness”.
Maduekwe gave the charge when he paid a familiarization visit to the Leadership of Yoruba Community, in Calabar.
He commended them for the peaceful and matured way they conduct their affairs while carrying out their daily businesses within the state.
According to the SA, “I appreciate your resolve to support the government by promoting cordial relationship, enhancing peaceful co-existence and contributing to the development across the state”.
Earlier, the President of Yoruba Community, Calabar, Mr Mike Abolade, had congratulated the Special Adviser and praised His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu’s developmental and Infrastructural transformation of the state within few months of assumption.
He prayed that God should provide him with the grace and enablement to actualize his ‘People’s First’ agenda.
