The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Non Indigenes Affairs, Mazi Okey Maduekwe , has joined well meaning Nigerians to appeal to the Non Indigenes Residents in the state to reject and shun the proposed protest.
Also he specifically appealed to the traders to reject the protest and be patient with His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu who is trying his best to reposition and bring prosperity to Cross River State with his people Oriented programmes.
Maduekwe reminded them that the Non Indigenes businesses and Investments alongside the state will equally suffer most from Looting and Vandalization if the protest is allowed to hold in the state.
“Non Indigenous Youths must be ready to always identify with the performing state government by speaking out against the Looming Protest”.
Our Youths should be couscious and restrain from actions that will jeopardize smooth running of this “Season of sweetness”.
