The spirit of God came down in glory during Friday’s Service. It was a show of power and authority as principalities and powers tested the supernatural power of God, the creator of Heaven and Earth.
And guess what, they all bowed down as the people began to hear, obey and believe the word of God.
The service was a spirit packed experience and it was fun all through as the Prophet who had earlier talked about his health, could be strong till the close of service by past 4 pm. That is the power of God. He keeps His promises.
The theme of the service was “Deliverance from spiritual bondage”.
Spiritual bondage could be referred to the state of being trapped in spiritual darkness, oppression or enslavement. It can manifest as, fear, anxiety, depression, addiction, sinful patterns, emotional turmoil”.
The Prophet of God, Prophet Sunday Obi, came as usual, with all smiles over him, dancing and praising His Master Jesus Christ.
His posture depicts joy and happiness as he danced to the choir stand where he joyfully expressed excitement because His God is alive – Alleluia!
The giant of Africa, has never had a dull moment as far as I had known him when it concerns the things of God.
Friday’s Service was a dangerous day for the evil ones. It was a service dedicated to fight the evil ones in our families with “stone” as a warfare. The Prophet had prayed and sent the stones on errand.
The service had started with Ministers prayers and thereafter, the Intercessory prayer anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson according to the directions of the Holy Spirit.
He began by appreciating God and giving Him Thanksgiving too.
Ubong raised prayer according to Isaiah 60:1 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
He also prayed according to Obadiah 1:17“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
Also, he prayed according to Joel.2:25/Isa.10:27/49:25 respectively.
This season was very inspiring and spiritual too as the glory of God came down.
He a God that never fails. He keeps to his promises. He is alive.
As a lover of praise and worship, Prophet Sunday Obi, God’s own general, doesn’t joke with this period. He had earlier emphasized the importance of worship. The thirty minutes worship was rewarding. It ignited the spirit of the congregation.
And the testimonies were touching too. The Prophet also testified the goodness of the Lord in his life. He is a merciful God.
The choir ARENA Echo International choir was at her best always anytime, any day to worship and praise God.
The giant of Africa Prophet Sunday Obi, welcomed the Guest speaker,, Eld.Pst. Phil Adams to present the Word with the theme “Deliverance from bondage”.
She took her text from Luke 4:1 saying “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed”
She went saying that spiritual bondage is a state of being bound by religion, fear of hell fire or sin as could be found in John. 8:32-34/2Tim 1:7 to butress her point.
According to her, “Jesus is the Master Deliverer”. He came to set mankind free from all forms of slavery.(Romd 6:6/1Pt 2:9).
Spiritual bondage is the process of unbelievers being held hostage in bondage in sin – Jhn8:34.
Causes of Spiritual BondageInclude, sin and disobedience, unforgiveness and bitterness unrepentant heart, demonic influence, generational curses and trauma and abuse.
She says that the Word is the source of deliverance. The spirit of God – John 6:63, the power in the word Rom 1:16, the light is the Word John 1:1-15, fire is in the word Jer. 23:29, thè sword of the spirit – Eph 6:17, spiritual hammer Jer.23:29, Blood in the Word -Rev:12:11 amongst others.
What qualifies you from deliverance from spiritual bondage are, you must be Born again – Jhn 3:3-7, Obedience Provb 6:20, Faith Mk.11:22-24, service Matt. 6;33, boldness -:Acts 14:3 and praises – Psa. 34:1.
God had made the following promises to mankind: that “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32), “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you.” (Psalm 50:15), “The Lord shall deliver me from every evil work.” (2 Timothy 4:18)
She says we must learn to sow painfully (psa.126:1,4-6, obey prophetic messages or instructions 1Sam.16:19-23, go for counseling often – Amen!.
Prophet Sunday Obi had earlier said that bondage is outright slavery. He declared freedom for someone in today’s service. No 11 Otu Ansa, is where it is happening. When all hope is lost come, He will restore and you will overtake and recover all.
And, the full ministration started as he began to fetch those with challenges out one after another as God visited them according to their faith.
Their deliverances were calm and easy. The Servant of God gave God the thanks as he often said he is not the one doing it.
Earlier, he had announced the sudden demise of one of the founding members of the Commission, Late Eld. Mrs. Peace Kalu. May her gentle soul rest in peace Amen.
Also, he announced that the last Marriage Seminar will be coming up on November 9th, 2024 @10.00am prompt.
